I found useful what many state about bad cloning, I mean having an almost full box (I haven't ever verified if it's necessary it hasn't ever been filled, though) and trying to clone more pokémons at once.
I clone until I have four clones in my party, the clone on and on all of them every time, I usually got a bad clone in a few tries when I have 16 or so clones in the box.

I haven't tried that, it sounds as a good idea. The data will save longer, etc.

Yes, it's way easier. Also, you have chances to get more bad clones at once (it happened to me).
