Glitch battling club?

I don't know if this belongs here or not, but…

Has anybody made a Smogon-esque fighting system for glitch Pokemon? It's kinda cool to breed glitch Pokemon and fight them against eachother. My friend ordered Pokemon Red and he's using the item select glitch to '''''create'''''''' Pokemon to fight me with.

If it doesn't exist, does anybody want to fight their glitch Pokemon against mine?

I'm not sure if that has been done but it sounds neat! Imagine a h Poke vs. a 3TrainerPoke or Missingno.

I would battle your glitch Pokemon but sadly my glitch setup is on my phone….

you can transmit your sav file from iphone to PC using SHH ;)

if you want to contact me, my skype is danishmuffinaregood, we can set up a battle and maybe record it.

I may just have to set up a special save file JUST FOR YOU…

EDIT: Dammit, no save editor runs on Win10 properly. The three listed here won't work with glitch Pokemon anyway, so that's a waste. Well, on to hex editing…

EDIT 2: DAMMIT! I corrupted my save on accident. Forgot that number of Pokemon is one byte before firs Pokemon data, and set it to 231. Well, shit.

Who uses iDevices for emulation anymore? And on Android, some emulators support netplay, so HA. (RetroArch is good…)

Sounds like a neat idea. It can be hard though because some glitch pokemon's stats are always different and some glitch moves crash, corrupt, and even delete your save file.

delete your save file.

I keep hearing this shit, but I've never heard of a Glitchmon that can actually do this.

You make a good point about the difficulty of the project, especially since Glitchmon tend to become level 153 exploding Bulbasaurs.

Alright, since this is a semi, popular topic, I'm gonna see if I can make a legit thread that maybe we can schedule a tournament per se over TGB Dual or something like that :P.

delete your save file.

I keep hearing this s**t, but I've never heard of a Glitchmon that can actually do this.

It happens occasionally. Most of the time its through a gameshark glitchmon (experienced as kid), but only happens when the glitch move makes a super glitch effect that basically corrupt all of the save data or the most important addresses. The game itself will delete the save file.

Nice. Forgot about that glitch. Guess everything has a way of being done without a gameshark. But there are still moves that can corrupt certain values of save or RAM values. They just may take a bunch of tries because they are just random.

But there are still moves that can corrupt certain values of save or ROM values. They just may take a bunch of tries because they are just random.

1. ROM cannot be written to. RAM? Yes. ROM? No. ROM stands for read only memory. In other words, RAM is temporary. ROM is forever.

2. As far as save corruption goes, if that info was gathered from a Nintendo article and you believed it, GTFO. Nintendo is full of shit. The only documented save-corrupting effects caused by glitch Pokémon are Super Glitch and name corruption in which the name is more than 10 or so characters. And even then you have to save manually, as the save function is a named function, and therefore it would be a HUGE long shot for anything to end up calling it. Did you even read the wiki? If not, don't come back to the forums until you've read every page.
