Fortunately, you join forces with Weegee and you both hypnotise people into other weegees.

Fortunately, you happen to be Malleo, in which case, Weegee DOES work with you. (Along with Papa Fortran.)

Fortunately, the save file still exists and before the game froze all Pokémon at level 100 were added to the boxes in your save.

Unfortunately, the REASON for the crash is your HDD's READ head got stuck to the platters as they were spinning, and therefore was torn off. So no drive activity could occur, and the ROM was only half-loaded. Also, this means no SAV. Game over!

Fortunately, the computer store can fix it.

Fortunately, the computer store can fix it.

As a techie, I can say this as a fact:

The only way to do that is to have the head removed from the platters and the platters moved to a new drive. Which costs thousands and requires a clean room and decontamination tech. So… no. The PC store CANNOT do this. Nullified.

Unfortunately, through a glitch in the universe's code that occurs based on a non-capped 4096-byte counter's "zeroness", the READ head's atoms were separated from the plate's, entirely restoring the drive.

Plus it added 1000000$ worth to your save file (that is, you now have 2 bicycles)

NOPE
Unfortunately, just removal of the head isn't enough. You need another entire READ/WRITE assembly.
Your drive is still trashed.
(I'm the only one who knows this shit, so I'm out.)

Fortunately, everybody shuts the fuck up and gets back to the game, while the player gets a new drive.

There, I fixed it.
