Admin guideline - When promoting staff, personal relationship SHOULD NOT FACTOR into the decision. Good: "Member A has been doing a good job following the rules and posting good Glitch discoveries. He might make a good Glitch Scientist." Bad: "My girlfriend joined so I'm going to make her a mod because she asked me to."
