Well, good. You wouldn't WANT to hear it.

Another creepy one is "Long Long Long".

By the way, here's a Beatles song:

She Came In Through The Bathroom Window (1969)-Abbey Road:

Look out!

She came in through the bathroom window
Protected by a silver spoon
But now she sucks her thumb and wanders
By the banks of her own lagoon

Didn't anybody tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sunday's on the phone to Monday,
Tuesday's on the phone to me

She said she'd always been a dancer
She worked at 15 clubs a day
And though she thought I knew the answer
Well I knew but I could not say.

And so I quit the police department
And got myself a steady job
And though she tried her best to help me
She could steal but she could not rob

Didn't anybody tell her?
Didn't anybody see?
Sunday's on the phone to Monday,
Tuesday's on the phone to me
Oh yeah.

Notes: This song was about a Beatles fan who broke into Paul McCartney's house.
This song was recorded as one song with "Polythene Pam". It is usually played like this: Sun King, Mean Mr. Mustard, Polythene Pam, She Came In Through The Bathroom Window.
Part of a "suite" of songs on the second side of Abbey Road. Seven consecutive minute to two minute long songs were on the second side. None of these seven songs were actually complete.

A statistic to prove young people are discovering old bands: Ever hear of the Doors? They're a great old rock band. Lead singer Jim Morrison died in '71 and the band broke up. In 1991, the 20th annivrsery of his death and (I believe) the year he'd have turned 50, thousands of people flocked to his grave to remember him. Well over half of the people who came had not even been born yet when he died.

I've liked the Doors ever since I can remember.

on a similar note, virtually all of the bands I really like are '60s-'80s. They're not active anymore, for the most part (Yes released an album in 2001, but other than that, I don't know).

I was born in 1991.

Yeah… I'm a bit behind on the times.

Hey, Abwayax, did you know Yes and Led Zeppelin almost merged at one point?
In 1980, Led Zeppelin had just recently broken up. At that same time, Yes was disbanded for a few years. Talks began springing up about Zeppelin's Robert Plant and Jimmy Page were about to form another band with Yes's Alan White and Chris Squire. The band's name was to be XYZ (ex-Yes ex-Zeppelin). Unfortuanately, the band never made it beyond the recording studio.

Shame, too. That would've been really cool had that happened.

Don't feel bad…I WAS born in 1992. Call me behind as well.

By the way, here's some lyrics.

"See Me, Feel Me/Listening To You"-The Who- Tommy (1969)

See me, feel me
Touch me, heal me

See me, feel me
Touch me, heal me

See me, feel me
Touch me, heal me

See me, feel me
Touch me, heal me

Listening to you, I get the music
Gazing at you, I get the heat
Following you, I climb the mountains
I get excitement at your feet

Right behind you, I see the millions
On you, I see the glory
From you, I get opinions
From you, I get the story

Listening to you, I get the music
Gazing at you, I get the heat
Following you, I climb the mountains
I get excitement at your feet

Right behind you, I see the millions
On you, I see the glory
From you, I get opinions
From you, I get the story

Listening to you, I get the music
Gazing at you, I get the heat
Following you, I climb the mountains
I get excitement at your feet

Right behind you, I see the millions
On you, I see the glory (fades to silence)

Sorry for two posts in a row. I tried to add it to my previous post, but my computer screwed it up and I couldn't.

I was introduced to the Beatles via the Yellow Submarine cartoon movie :P

Beatles "Yellow Submarine"

In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines

So we sailed into the sun
and we found the sea of green
and we lived beneath the waves
in our yellow submarine

We all live in a yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
A yellow submarine

And our friends were all aboard
Many more of them lived next door
And the band begins to play
(insert band noises)

We all live in a yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
A yellow submarine

So we lived a life of peace *a life a peace*
Every one of us has what we need *has what we need*
Sky of blue *sky of blue*
And sea of green *sea of green*
In our yellow *in our yellow*
Submarine *Submarine* YAHOO!

We all live in a yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
A yellow submarine
We all live…(music gradually fades out)

;D

I think the Beatles were at their best from about 1966-1970. Before that they were just mostly a pop band. Around '66 or '67, they got introduced to drugs (gee, wouldn't be a rock band without the members getting into drugs at some point). The album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (which features many famous dead people on the cover…hmmm, I wonder how they could pose for the album cover?) brought the Beatles into the psychedelic culture. Damn, that album HAD to take A LOT of money to produce.

Personally, I believe their best album was their next-to-last one released, Abbey Road. That album spent a long time on the top of the charts in both the UK and the US. It was on the charts for SEVERAL years afterwards. And it was actually their last album they did together.

what do I listen to? I'm sure you guys could guess. Pokemon music! I think if I could play a song in my signature it would be 2.B.A Master  8). other favorite Pokemon songs include "You and Me and Pokemon", "Double Trouble (lol Team Rocket)", and (mega-uber-lol :P) Brocks "Two perfect girls" song. other than Pokemon I enjoy listening to music from other video games such as various Mario, Zelda, and mostly other Nintendo games.

….Anyone hear ever listen to Kirby 64 music? The game itself was nothing special, but the music was awesome. And they have a sound test, which is even better. I like 19 the most (the regular boss music)

The Metal Mario music for both of the Smash Bros games are cool too.

I liked 07 the most… (Odd music there).

Also, so many Led Zeppelin songs sound like they could be in a Sonic game, and they would just fit right in. Even with words.

I've never heard it.

Speaking of which, anyone ever hear of this band?

The Who

I've heard of them, but I can't name any of their songs off the top of my head.

Haha, ever hear the songs in Sonic Adventure 2? Man, they're so awesome, especially the full main theme song (used in the final battle), White Forest, Radical Highway, the music for Sonic's first stage, and the battle music used for Sonic/Shadow's battle against the huge walker machines (I believe a couple of remixes of that music were used for a couple of the boss battles in Shadow the Hedgehog as well).

Speakign of which, that's another game with cool music. Sure, the game itself is mediocre at best, but it's still a decent game and the music makes it all worth it.

Yeah. Remember Sonic's first stage, when you got chased by the truck? Well, there's a Led Zeppelin song that has a part of it that sounds like it SHOULD be the background music for this. The Lemon Song. Actually, there's a guitar solo about 2 minutes into the song that sounds REMARKABLY like it should be in a Sonic game, particularly where the truck chases you.

By the way…

I've heard of them, but I can't name any of their songs off the top of my head.

There you go. Actually it's not a song on it's own, it's part of a song called "We're Not Gonna Take It". This part of it was released as a single.

I never saw Yellow Submarine. Grew up watching Help and A Hard Day's Night, though… THAT is comic gold.

I've never seen any of them either.

On a sad note, I am in my final days here most likely. My computer is crashing 10 times or so each day and my virus scanner says nothing is wrong with my computer. I've deleted all sorts of stuff and it's gotten even worse. I might not be back (if my computer breaks, I can't afford a new one).

So…this could be goodbye. :'(
