Worst T.V. shows? - Page 2

Ed, Edd and Eddy was the bomb (Plank rocked!) Edit: I forgot about the PowerPuff Girls. Embarassingly, I liked them too. Now CN is showing weird crap like "Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends" and "Chowder." I never really watched Toonami, but I remember it's existence. And finally, Tom and Jerry taught me most of pop culture (which is why I suck at LA Times crosswords.)
MTV sucks. Amusingly (in retrospect, of course), my 6th grade art teacher did a "Pimp My Classroom" project, earning her a scolding from the principal and the scorn of the PTA.
TV shows that I really hate? The Spanish-language porn channels that we receive free, courtesy of Cox. Wonderful.
Oh yeah, "Extreme Living." While the content is pretty good, the camera lenses are detached-retina inducing.

Pretty much anything on TLC nowadays. After Nickelodeon, Disney, and Cartoon Network went down the crapper TLC and the Discovery Channel were two of the only channels worth watching anymore. A few years later, really crappy shows like Say Yes to the Dress and What Not to Wear started appearing. What?! I thought TLC was The Learning Channel, not the fashion channel. Shows that have been plaguing American television for years now are STILL on like American Idol and The Bachelor, so R.I.P. TV.

And I didn't like Ed Edd & Eddy likeā€¦.ever. I loved Johnny Bravo, Power Puff Girls, Cow & Chicken, I Am Weasel, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc. but I never liked Ed, Edd, and Eddy or Dexter's Laboratory.

"Ed, Edd n Eddy", "Chowder", and anything on the Discovery, History, and Travel Channels is good.  Plus "Mad Money" and [adult swim].  Everything else (bar BBC America) is complete and utter horseshit.

Mad Money is just a guy ranting.

It's a guy ranting about the stock market.  Also, have you ever even seen a Lightning Round?

Half the things they show here in England, is nothing more than a load of shit. I have Sky, and some of the channels on there suck! A lot of the movies suck, as I've been waiting to see Quarantine (horror film, rated 18 in England), to come on TV, as I watched it on a website but the picture was so bad. It's been out since last year and it still hasn't come on! I have Cloverfield on DVD, and that wasn't too bad. Seriously half the channels I watch, like the Crime & Investigation Network, (I love crime documentaries), half really suck. Like Gangland, that's a load of shit, The First 48 isn't too bad, Crime 360 is a load of shit, and other things are fucking crap.  TV these days isn't worth it. I do miss some of the old cartoons I used to watch, back in 88, we had a few re-runs of old cartoons in the 80s, where they showed them again, but still. Some of the old TV I used to watch I miss. But now we get nothing but complete crap. I think TV needs to be improved. Bring back the old kick ass toons!

No, Gangland, pwns.

Also, not to, insult you, but, as I demonstrate, you, use way, too many, commas, especially, in all the, wrong places.  This is, clearly, a violation, of, Rule 4.

I've gone through with this bullshit before with the admins, and I can't help it. I was born with autism, and learning disabilities, so my typing skills aren't perfect, and it never will be. I can't really help it. So, just drop it. I don't want to go on about the list of problems, so please just don't bring that up again, thank you. Gandland sucks. Rookies suck, a lot of them are so fucking boring they shouldn't even be shown. I watched that Texas Great Escape and it sucked. It wasn't as interesting as I thought it was, going to be. Watching the Detectives, wasn't too bad, but I keep missing it, as I forget it's on Thrusdays.

Oh god.

Listen.  I have autism, and I can type just fine.

Also Rule 3:

3. Don't exploit loopholes. You should know what this means.

I would like to note that while you, Sir CJ Miller, are the only person besides Murph to reach a Warn-o-Meter of 50, Mutou Yami is a Decamark Researcher + and has been here for quite some time. Because you have autism, you should know that it comes in twice as many forms as the number of times you have infringed on forum rules. Furthermore, since Mutou Yami has been here for years and the administrators have seen fit to promote her, they must have not seen the overabundance of commas as major drawback. Finally, this is not "exploiting loopholes" because no rules are being broken in the first place. Rule 4 clearly states: "We expect proper English from all members, with the exception of people who show an obvious difficulty in typing the English language." I would count this as an obvious difficulty (no offense intended) and therefore an exception.

Anyways, back on topic:
I've never watched Gangland, but I tend to avoid shows like that. So-called "reality shows" always seemed a bit cheesy, because you never know if they're paying people to insert fake drama. For instance, I imagine that half the fights on "Deadliest Catch" were sponsored by Discovery to grab more cash for advertisements.

Well, you obviously haven't watched the making-of special.  All the Discovery Channel does is film the season and then edit for TV.

Thank you Wa. It is true, that autsim, can effect people very differently, but I had to end up with either an advanced version or worse. Yes, it runs in my family, my father has it.

Some have been known to be real, where I watch the Cold Case Files, and it's quite interesting. Some of the others I watch aren't too bad but most are just bloody crap.
