Whoa, this is really cool. Beyond beleif…so you really didn't "make" those screenshots? So you can pretty much just transfer data for sprites, names, and base stats? That's some pretty interesting stuff, you'd really think those were made-up screenshots. I especially am interested in the 4th-to-3rd gen things. Nice finds.

What did you transfer to make that happen exactly by the way?

4th Gen to 3rd Gen is done in exactly the same way you put Mewthree onto Ruby. It is much easier to insert images second gen onwards.

Yeah, but exactly what PkMn and data did he transfer to cause all that weird stuff? :???:

That is a full hack, that is several images inserted into the game.
You just draw it, then insert it into the game, the hacking tool does all of it.

You could probably put a Marill in there and name it "Pikablu".

Speaking of that, I'm going to go try that now.

Apparently SloshedMail's been doing this a lot (check YouTube again). So anyway, is it easy to do?

It's hard at first, but after you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.

Well, I might as well…..

Open Gold or Silver (you may get away with Crystal), Open the Pokedex, look at it's stats or find a wild one. Open the VBA Memory viewer and go to line 9000. Save the dump at 9000 at about size 310.

Get Red/Blue/Yellow to a suitable place to find the Pokemon and then as the wild pokemon begins to appear (for better effect) open the Memory viewer and apply your dump to 9000. The opponent will become a G/S pokemon.

When I do it, my line 9000 only says 0000000…etc. so nothing happens…?

You do realize this topic is over 1 year old right?

(That line 9000 is the START of the pokemon sprite, not the entire sprite on screen.)

So how do I get the WHOLE Pokemon sprite into line 9000 or any other please.
