so as you know, Melchior II was completed in march, and the data uploaded to the Glitch Dex that same month.

and people on TRS are coming and posting about their "new discoveries" that happen to be from Melchior II.

If we were the #1 glitch site, this wouldn't happen.

Or would it?

TRS Rockin + TR Rose actually posting about Melchior in her site = Less n00bs saying they discovered something old.

Or maybe we can somehow convince them that our site isn't a pile of shit.

One of the first things that popped up in my mind was affiliating with TRS Rockin, but I don't think you would want to do that.

I got to find out if TR Rose ever let me post on the site. *checks*

Actually, I was considering that.

I don't "hate" Rose or her site; I'm just wondering at people posting "new discoveries" that are six months old.

About what I just posted on the TRS Rockin forums, no, I don't have a French Red or Blue ROM. I do have a French Yellow ROM though.

She might not even want to affiliate because of some of the Pokemon ROMs in the shops. (and I'm still considering putting all 6 of the Gameboy ROMs in my shop for free)

Why are we selling roms there anyway?

Because people want money, and ROMs are used a lot here for glitching purposes.

yeah, but I don't want people (as in Nintendo) to whine about copyright laws and stuff. besides, people shouldn't be making money (?, $, or whatever) off Nintendo's work anyway.

Perhaps we can just tell people who want roms to Google for it. I mean, if they can't do a simple thing like that, they're obviously not a decent glitchologist.

That's one of the reason why I wanted to put the ROMs in the shop but charge them no money to take it.

A lot of people here (including ACE91) don't use ROMs because they can't stand to take 30 minutes looking for them on Google.

So should I remove the ROMs in the shops?

I removed all the ROMs that aren't pirated or homebrew, and removed a GBA BIOS too. I'll post an annoucement about it.

Well, at least we're not operating a Black Market anymore.

I should also run virus scan on the items folder to see if any malicious code exists in there.

You don't want pirated and homebrew games on GCL? I was thinking it would be okay to leave them on because TRS Rockin's doing it.
