Are there really that many? O_O

They all look like either the ? in a circle or the double ??, right? Or are there some really funky ones farther down? Well, besides Bad Egg.

Bad Egg hasn't got a solid hex..I think. It shares Egg's.
And…Not really, They are all like this:

[attachimg1]

[attachimg2]

[attachimg3] <– Mentioned in my favourite glitch. (I liked it's tanned-ness and name)

…etc
All with unique names, stats, Colour pallets, genders, evolutions, types, attacks and level up styles

Wow. Sweet! XD

I like the pink one :P

Interesting how the types are "half-scrolled" and how some are said to be encountered at Level 2 when they're at Level 0. I guess Lv.2 is as low as the encounter message can go…

Which reminds me of something slightly off-topic. I remember seeing screenshots of Ruby and Sapphire before they were released, and one of them showed a Treecko at Lv.1 O_o. So they originally planning to have Lv 1 Pokemon in R/S/E?

No, it is actually because I was in the Lv2 encounter area. (The first grass, bit)

I didn't think there has ever been a no-sharked+noglitch lv1

And with the type things. You can actually get Contest typed Pokemon. (First ones beyond normal types) EG. CUTE type, SMART type, TOUCH type…etc.

Like I said, it was before the game was released, so I think it was a beta shot that accidently got used.

Why didn't they start using Level 1 Pokemon until the fourth gen, anyway? I know in the old games there was that "fading exp" flaw, but they could've fixed that beforehand, right?

It would have been forced into existance… It can be any level they want.

So they didn't have enough time to fix it?

I had a list of ?x10 variants somewhere, but it's outdated and probably incorrect.

Newo, how are you finding these variants? I tried to use ARCrypt to create GS codes for them, but no dice there. I was able to generate codes for RSE:387, 388, 389, and 390 though.

I use the Action Replay Variable code. (Works with Gameshark I think)
0000B138000A
1003A82A0007
83007D22xxxx
And when you can't encounter them, I sometimes hack it into my party or PC, just to see it.
But for stats I use my extended stats editor. (But it freezes beyond hex 0300 or so)
