Also, by looking at pictures in the article, it does NOT have a GBA slot. Not surprised, but that would have been awesome. Doesn't Nintendo realize how many more people would sell their old DS's and buy DSi's (ex. me) if they included a GBA slot with the DSi?

Meh, they're so obsessed with making old products obsolete that they'll throw easy money out the window!


Or they're gonna throw on a GBA slot on DSi XL-R or something

Not particularly.

Before the DSi, there was absolutely no competition between the two-Nintendo made vieo games, while Apple made laptops, music players, etc. The DSi, though, has web browsing, a camera, a music player-it's Nintendo no longer just making a device that just plays games, but also opens its scope to other things-other things that Apple also makes.

The bigger DSi looks and feels more like an iTouch, therefore it competes more directly with the iTouch.

At least you can transfer your applications over from your DSi to a DSi XL using the SD card.

I prefer DS Lite- it's sleek, shiny, and plays GBA games.

If you like your GBA games, get a DS or DS Lite. If you like applications, a web browser, and cameras, get a DSi.

DSi. The SD card can force the DSi to run homebrew.
