But that doesn't mean he doesn't like a good breakfast to start the day.

Burger King did not exist in 900 B.C.

Right. If we believe Burger King existed in 900 B.C, then it must be true.

Besides, everybody likes food.

Also, I believe the egg came first, because the chicken most likely evolved from some other bird.

chicken. something had to lay the egg. and even then, it would be pretty damn close to a chicken. close enough, IMO.

But that chicken would have had to come from an egg, and eventually the egg-laying animal would be different from a chicken…

I've already known what came first since fifth grade or so.  The chicken hatched from an egg layed by another type of bird but was a "mutation" when it hatched.  So the egg came first.

The chicken evolved from a primitive prehistoric bird, and then laid the egg ^,^

Yes, but if you say it that way, the chickens still came from eggs.

The chicken, why? Because if some "bird" laid an egg, it's not going to evolve quickly, and especially not in time for it to hatch into a chick then develope into a chicken, it doesn't work that way. Evolution takes thousands, and absolutely more than millions or billions years. That said, a bird like creature, or dinosaur-bird like creature most likely kept evolving, and improving, until it became a complete "chicken" species (though not complete as an animal, creatures are and always will keep evolving.). Therefore, after it's evolution was complete, it would then comense to mate, lay eggs to produce chicks, and later on develope into a chicken.

Have a good day :).

Technically, no one specified if we were discussing Chicken eggs here.

The first fish laid the first caviar. End discussion.
