I use good old Windows 200, Linux on my external harddrive. Mainly I use Windows 200 though.

You mean 2000? Don't ever recall a Windows 200 existing.

I put "Other" because Microsoft Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition isn't in the list :P

A server-class OS on my laptop. With Aero.

I want to know why Microsoft would put Aero on a Server OS.

But aaaaanyways…

*goes back to Flip3D-ing 500 command prompt windows*

This computer came with SucksOS (aka Windows Vista) on it, and I tried to boot with Damn Small Linux, but there's no floppy drive on this thing, so I can't. Sometimes I use DSL with Microsoft Virtual PC (thinking about getting VMware if I can find it) On my laptop I have XP, which is pretty decent, considering it can run the DOS Virtual Machine (aka command prompt) in fullscreen (a task that is apparently too complicated for a simple operating system like Vista). Also, for some reason, my laptop can't send files in IM clients and the like. If I'm not hating my Vista for not allowing fullscreen in DOS and happily playing fullscreen DOS games on my XP, I'm sending files to Torchickens and hating how I can't do that on XP for some reason. I think it has something to do with that antivirus/firewall program I have, or maybe the IM client I'm using. It's one of life's mysteries. :P

Vista, isn't all that bad. Bit of a pain in the ass, for most things like ROMs.

Same with Server 2008, User Account Control steps it up a notch on my setup (main account is on User instead of Administrator, and the password policy requires me to have a password with letters, numbers, AND symbols like "l@bs0ne" or the like). Alongside that, DEP (Data Execution Protection) will block programs from running sometimes - it's a security feature - that I have to manually override after going through 2 UAC prompts.

I wish my processor supported hardware virtualization to mess with Hyper-V on the damn thing…

You could try booting from CD or USB, most recent computers support it.

Well, now that we've moved on to the computers in the household, I've a few more to add.

I've got a Black MacBook with a 2.4 GHz Intel core 2 Duo and 2 GB of RAM.  Its running OS X 10.5.4

Brother has White MacBook Running OS X 10.5.4

Have an old G5 in my moms house with 512 MB of ram and it happens to not be working. It is running 10.5.4

And my dad is running some peace of shit windows thing. Dell doesn't do well.

My mom has other computers in other places so I may talk about them later. Like a MacBook Pro and A G5 with sevral GB of RAM.
