I find it funny how everyone conveniently forgets that Sonic is part of Caspar too

Ok, Ok, I'll do a ring for sonic.

I find it funny that you think some of us should know and care, considering some of us have ever played those games. Yuzi's still around, right? But, fine. I'll make the same set-up for the Sonic pages as I did for Mario and Zelda.
on second thought I'll leave it to somebody else. I'd have to re-do the leftmenu, and I really don't feel like it.

but it needs to be reconfigured, unless you want the admin interface clogged up with twenty different directories, when some of them will only hold a few glitches at most. ah, hell. I'll do it because you guys are liable to screw it up.
EDIT: done, http://glitchcity.info/admin/docs/sonicdocs I have a few in there to show you how to do it.

hmm…. since there are some glitches in SM64DS that only work depending on which version of the game you're using, I suppose I could try to use my awesome now-fail PHP skills to make a bit of a user interface to make the glitch show up on the condition of what you submitted. yeah… four buttons, VER1, VER2, EUR, and AUS, and use a form, and… wait does PHP have an OR statement? I'm so used to thinking in BASIC because TI-BASIC was the first programming language I learned. but I'll check.
EDIT: yes, it's ||
so… I guess I'll get working on it. don't worry, I'll fail miserably.

Should we have console sub-sites as well (eg. gameboy.glitchcity.info, ps2.glitchcity.info) or am I taking "Verging Outwards" too far? I was just thinking that we could escape from rather niche categories into a bigger world, you know adding new games like Halo, Call of Duty, Pong, Pacman, Space Invaders, Lego Star Wars and other games, not just Pokemon, Zelda, Mario and Sonic. Because except in glitch research, not many people play most of the older games.

This would make the site much more popular. Although I may just be going mad. Keep the Big categories as there own sites, but have several small Misc glitches and Glitch lists on Various pages in Console categorized sites.

Just a thought.

uhh… There is such a thing as "biting off more than we can chew", ya know.
also…
here is a SM64DS glitch faq. Obviously we can't just copypaste it onto the site, so… whoever has SM64DS, re-write it. I'm not talking about paraphrasing here. You must read the FAQ, learn how to do a glitch, and without looking back at the FAQ, write a semi-detailed description on how to do it. That'll be the best, and most legal, way to do it.

finished coding the page. note that this is just an outline, no actual content is in there, so don't go putting it on the site. If someone else wants to actually do something and not let me get all the glory, code the form. If you don't know how,  W3C has a nice little tutorial on the <FORM> tag.

If someone gives me code access, sure.

*cough* honestly, you don't need it. just make a form that works with the file I uploaded. It doesn't need to go up on the site yet, because there's yet to be any content.  you know what? it's not really anything I should fret about. It's less than maybe a paragraph's worth of coding. certainly much less than what I just did. plus, I might be starting to catch my second wind.

I know it has been several months since someone last posted here but I'm proud to say that I'm going to be a major contributor to this project because I seem to find more glitches when the games aren't pokemon. (Actually its more like the glitches find me. I seem to have a nack for getting into trouble like that.)
