Meh, well, to make a long story short, today was pretty hectic for me. I spent the first half of the day doing a bunch of yardwork at my house, and after that my dog got pretty sick, so we had to take her to a hospital a bunch of miles away.

So even though I do have Chapter 11 written, I was meaning to do another proof-read today but never had the time. Sorry about that, I can guarentee it'll be out tomorrow, though, so thanks for your patience. :)

So…6200 + 8 Shall Succeed! Yeah!

Honestly I don't mind being portrayed as an evil godless terrorist mastermind. I've been called much worse things.

Meh, don't you remember, in like Chapter 6 or something, you started the Knights who say Meh and you're also the Head Administrator of GCL.

'Course, GoldSage sort of unofficially usurped GCL and stuff, but if you've been reading current chapters, Lee Nader's coming for him and that's never good news.  8)

Oh yeah, and just a day late, I present to you guys Chapter 11! I was a bit rusty, but before long I should be back to my chapter writing rhythm. Expect Chapter 12 sometime this week, too! :)

The Final Solution: Chapter 11

By: Don Watermeleon

Lee Nader calmly took the Pylon from Kyoukipichi?s hand, understanding how important it was for him not to lose this one as fast as he did the last. It was bad enough increasing Don Watermeleon?s Pylon count to borderline Preeminence, though if what Kyoukipichi was saying was true, he?d be worse off letting it be tainted in the hands of the Regent Knight GoldSage. But as he reached to take the note too, his hand pulled back in surprise as Kyoukipichi began to glow a fierce green.

?Kyouki??!? shouted Lee Nader, but he couldn?t finish his exclamation as the man before him had disappeared in just a split second, the note vanishing with him too. ?What the hell just happened??

Lee Nader stepped back, holding the Pylon out as if it was a weapon, but he couldn?t find any sort of intruder hiding about. This seemed like the work of a Pylon, and even after seeing them wielded by simple Council Knights, that still left Lee Nader on his guard. This distraction left him so perplexed that he even forgot about the letter that had conveniently disappeared along with Kyoukipichi.

?Some s**t?s going down here in GCL, I?m really not liking this… Maybe I ought to head out to Melchior, that?s probably where I?d find some answers,? muttered Lee Nader to himself as he slammed open the door from Kyoukipichi?s office, but stopped just inches out of the room as his jaw hit the floor. The entire house was empty, no furniture at all. The walls were completely paint-less, and the floors were rough cement. From the dust that covered every inch of the interior, it looked as if this house hadn?t been lived in for years.

Turning around, Lee Nader even began to feel the slightest hint of fear, as the office he had just been in was as desolate as the rest of the mansion. No trace of Kyoukipichi or any of his belongings was left. Suddenly, Lee felt a sharp pang in his mind, as the memories of Kyoukipichi and exactly what he was doing here started draining from his mind. As if in a trance, he couldn?t stop his rapid loss of thought and didn?t even realize what was happening. Yet as his mind began to dull, the Pylon grasped loosely in his hand gleamed brighter, and the warmth the beacon gave off instantly restored Lee Nader back to his previous state of mind, and the memories of Kyoukipichi came rushing back.

?Thank Samwise I had this little Pylon with me. Could this be the work of GoldSage??. I really do need to get the f**k out of here!? thought Lee Nader in panic, as he started rushing down the twin staircase closest to him, taking notice that all of the staff around had seemingly disappeared along with Kyoukipichi. He was about to smash right through the large glass doors when he heard a booming voice speak from outside. The man?s Knight?s dialect seem considerably lighter and less arrogant than the one he fought just hardly an hour ago, yet Lee Nader knew immediately that he was in the presence of a High Knight and most likely a small squadron of Council Knights.

?Former High Knight Lee Nader, we are aware that you?re in this building. Please come out voluntarily, and we promise that there won?t be any trouble.? the man spoke from outside, and Lee Nader could just barely make him out through the fogged-glass doors. There appeared to be just a mere 10 men behind him, and number Lee Nader could easily take out with his bare hands. Using his Pylon it?d just be overkill. Remembering how easily he?d taken down the High Knight Ryan, Lee Nader swung open the doors, a broad, toothy grin across his face as he approached the Knights before him. The ten behind the High Knight crouched down to their knee, holding out their assault rifles in traditional military-fashion and pointed their blue lasers onto Lee Nader?s chest, but he continued walking towards the High Knight who remained standing. While the man appeared to wield no weapon, his expression was cold and dark; fierce enough to ward off most people. Of course, ?most people? wouldn?t come close to describing Lee Nader.

?I must say that I?m quite surprised you?ve surrendered yourself so peacefully. Since you don?t seem to be wanting to fight, please follow me and my soldiers and we shall escort you to Melchior.?

Melchior. The name raced through Lee?s head as the Knight?s plan became quite clear to him. Apparently, they still thought he was in the dark about GoldSage?s heinous activities at Glitch City?s main laboratory. It was obvious they were just going to kill him when he got there, and probably transform him into a Pylon too. But Lee Nader wasn?t about to let this happen.

?Just because I?m walking out without a weapon doesn?t mean I?m ready to surrender to you bitches?? barked Lee Nader back to the High Knight as his smile grew larger and his paced quickened to a mad dash, expecting to smash into the High Knight before his soldiers even managed to pull their triggers. But Lee Nader stopped immediately as he heard a familiar roar of bullets from the entrance to Kyoukipichi?s gates, which now looked so rusted over that even a mere touch could knock them over.

The ten Council Knights almost appeared to explode in blood as there bodies were lifted ten feet in the air by the force of the bullets darting right through them, but the High Knight, not even looking behind him, summoned up a green shield to block the incoming attack his way, and the bullets were absorbed right into his shield, giving off a ripple effect like a stone dropping into a calm pond.

?Hey, Lee! Sorry to keep you waiting, but you weren?t too easy to find. I?ve got your machine guns all repaired now, as you can see. I even made a few improvements!? shouted Phrawger as he slowly began walking into Kyoukipichi?s now-desolate garden, holding up Lee Nader?s two machine guns for him to see, which shined in the sun from a recent and much needed cleaning. But lowering them back to his shoulders, Phrawger pulled on a trigger that wasn?t there before, and two rockets shot out from the large guns, flying far too fast for the High Knight to see and crashed right into his green shield, shattering it and knocking him hard to the ground.

?Damn, you added fucking rocket launchers to my fucking machine guns?? shouted Lee Nader in ecstasy, ?I knew you?d turn out to be a damn good friend!?

However, Lee Nader remembered what Kyoukipichi said about Phrawger, and how it would be wise to stay away from him. But yet he had known Phrawger for a long time, who exactly should he trust?? Just to be safe, Lee Nader decided it?d be best not to mention the Pylon he?d just received.

?You?ve killed my comrades! You b*****d!? the High Knight yelled as he lifted himself up with little difficulty, wiping blood off his mouth with his hand. ?I?ve seen you before? Phrawger? Just another of the many Knight haters of GCL, but we never thought of you as a threat since you hold no power here. But now you?ve gone and murdered our people, along with aiding a wanted traitor. Your actions are unforgivable!?

?F**k you, you?re a fucking Knight and that?s unforgivable enough!? taunted Lee Nader, seeing how the battle which he knew he?d already win was becoming more and more in his favor. ?I demand that you show me to GoldSage, or else I?ll make you end up like the rest of your friends here.?

Lee Nader felt sort of a bit of guilt from the way he was talking to this High Knight, especially since he was most likely innocent and just following orders from the wicked Regent Knight. High Knights never knew exactly what was going on, it was just their responsibility to do as they were told. Being sent with only ten men, this was practically a suicide mission for him. And it wouldn?t be the first time a Knight had been sent to die to clean up one of their leaders? messes. Lee Nader knew this all too well.

His tone changing to be just a bit less hostile, Lee Nader picked him up by his collar and began interrogating the man. ?But first off, I?m tired of calling you just High Knight. What is your name, soldier??

?It?s none of your concern, Nader?? spoke the High Knight coldly, his face contorting into that of a fierce anger. Forming a Pylon in his right hand, he teleported a few feet away from Lee Nader, summoning up a laser sword similar to the one Ryan had wielded.

?His name is Depressio, originally known as Recoil but he changed it upon his promotion to High Knight.? said Phrawger as he now was standing by Lee Nader?s side, both noticing that the Knight?s angry expression had now become one of surprise. ?I?ve done considerable research on the monsters who have taken over GCL, it?s only natural I?d know everything about you.? continued Phrawger with a smirk.

?Heh, you are mistaken. I am not quite as shocked that you know my name as I am by your voice. You sound familiar, but I can?t imagine that we?ve met before.? said the High Knight Depressio, gruffly, grabbing his sword with two hands in a defensive stance, in case his enemies decided to strike.

Phrawger?s face took on a similar surprised look after what Depressio said, something Lee Nader noted with slight suspicion. But he was even more taken back about what Phrawger said next.

?High Knight Depressio, unless you?re ready to die right here, leave immediately, and tell your fucking leader that we?re coming for him. We know everything that?s going on here at GCL. GoldSage and the Knights are going down, so get the hell out of here and deliver my message!? Phrawger shouted, stepping towards the High Knight daunting, who consequently lowered his sword.

?Phrawger, are you crazy? You don?t want to have GoldSage expecting us, or it?d be all the more harder to get to him. Hell, he might just leave GCL all together!?

?No, trust me, I know quite a bit about the man. The best strategy would be to scare him. And since Depressio here is the last remaining, he?d make the perfect messenger.? replied Phrawger, who looked back at Depressio, and seeing that he was still there, shouted again, ?Are you leaving or not? Don?t make me change my mind!?

?I suppose, since the battle?s apparently over, I best not die here too. I think the Regent Knight will be very interested to hear this news.? said Depressio, as he warily began walking down the rough brick road out of Kyoukipichi?s house, eventually disappearing into the crowd of passing citizens outside.

?Well, we did it. Thanks for repairing my guns, and the rocket launcher?s fucking awesome. I owe you one on this.? said Lee Nader, raising his hand up, and Phrawger met it with a high five.

?No problem, just doing what I can to help. But we don?t have time to just sit around. GoldSage will know where we are before long, so we best move. There?s a place I need to show you, and if we can take it down we?ll be one step closer to GoldSage,? explained Phrawger, as both Lee Nader and him began walking the same way Depressio left, but curiously didn?t seem to be in all that much of a rush.

?Let me guess, the place?s called Melchior, no?? replied Lee Nader, remembering what Kyoukipichi had said about the laboratory and the experiments they were performing on innocent citizens. As they continued walking, Lee Nader peered over to examine Kyoukipichi?s garden. The grass had completely gone brown and all the plants and foliage were just as dead. The trees that had lined the brick pathway, pruned to looked like famous glitches that had been discovered in this city, such as MissingNo and ?M, appeared overgrown and one could barely make out what they originally represented.

?Yes, you?re actually right. How?d you know? Anyway, there are some things I ought to explain about the place first ??

Okay, here are chapters 5-10, just for reference. Hopefully this will deal with some of the confusion. :)

The Final Solution: Chapter 5

By: Don Watermeleon

Don Watermeleon raised his hand in the direction of the noise, even he himself surprised by the untimely interruption, and all of the bullets which had been aimed at his Knights, fell harmlessly to the ground with hardly a clatter.

?You?re no fun, Don Watermeleon. You never were.? came a deep voice from the shadows, which were quite plentiful here in the Gammapedia. A man, clad head to toe in camouflage and appearing as if he?d been taking steroid for a good portion of his life, casually stepped out of his hiding place, with two steaming machine guns, both about as tall as he was, perched on his shoulders, and a bearded man held easily in his arm.

?Put me down, you monster? Why?d you even pick me up in the first place?!? shouted that man, Abwayax, angrily as Lee Nader carelessly released him and he fell softly to the aged floor beneath.

?I didn?t know if I needed a human shield, but looks like you got lucky, dude. Didn?t need one.?

The rest of the crowd in the room stood wide-eyed facing both Lee Nader and Abwayax, who had started quite the commotion here in Gammapedia. Yet Don Watermeleon crossed his arms, and laughed softly to himself before approaching the two and speaking.

?Ah, Lee Nader. What a pleasure to see you. It?s been years now, hasn?t it?? laughed Don Watermeleon, in a slightly mocking tone. ?After your treason?I thought you just ran away, and probably died. But here you are in the flesh, and I must say it?s a pleasant surprise.?

?Shut up, Don Watermeleon. You?re surprised that I?m here? You knew I?m come to kill you eventually?? growled Lee Nader, barely taking notice of the Idol before him, as he took out a pack of cigarettes and lit one, placing it to his mouth.
?I believe we?ve established ever since I took rule that such sins as those have been banned?? said Don Watermeleon, his tone now appearing a bit annoyed, as he swatted his hand at the cigarette in Lee Nader?s mouth.

But in speed that caught Don Watermeleon off guard, Lee Nader raised his arm at a faster speed, parrying Don Watermeleon?s attack with what looked to be no effort at all.

?You?ve always been weak, Don Watermeleon. So, you could shoot a few laser beams or teleport, or do whatever you do. It?s only because you conned all of those pylons from other people. But I think I have something you may want.? said Lee Nader, as he reached into his pocket to try to pull something out.

?Oh shoot, it?s not here. Don?t tell me I forgot it.? whispered Lee Nader, furiously stuffing his hand into every pocket of his he could in hopes of finding whatever it was he was looking for.

?Ah yes, here it is. One of those Pylon things you keep talking about.?

Lee Nader loosely grasped in his hand a glowing green jewel, shaped like a diamond and roughly the size of a baseball. It emitted an aura which shined through the entire room of the Gammapedia, instantly bringing light to all the shadows that had once covered this space.

?A Pylon? One of the precious Pylons?? muttered Don Watermeleon to himself, gaining a bit of sinister excitement. ?Give it to me, immediately, and you shall be spared.?

?Whoa sh*t, that be one of them Pylons, n*gga? Yo, I bet I could fetch me a couple of g?s with that.? said Deokishisu, he too growing excited at the sight of this marvel as began walking towards Don Watermeleon, but Don Watermeleon merely raised a hand in a motion to stop him.

?High Knight Deokishisu, I value my Knights? lives greatly, and this man here, Lee Nader is the most dangerous person alive? With a Pylon in his possession, his strength is definitely magnified beyond belief. Please allow me to take care of this situation.? replied Don Watermeleon, in one of the strange instances where he seemed to show concern for his subordinates.

?Okay, Our Great Benefactor.? responded Deokishisu in slight disappointment.

Lee Nader began laughing, the first person shown here who seemed to be able to laugh in jest, to the point that he actually fell down onto the hard, cold stone floor. He dropped the shining Pylon, which fell gracefully to his side, not even cracking from the fall. Don Watermeleon crouched down to pick it up, but Lee Nader grasped at his collar with lightning speed, his face becoming serious once more.

?Yes, I am quite correct, High Knight Deokishisu. Believe it or not, Lee Nader was once a Knight, much like you. A High Knight infact, and I served under him as a Council Knight in his squadron. But yet, one day he went crazy, committed treason and I was forced to take over his position??

?SHUT UP WITH THOSE BULLSH*T LIES!? roared Lee Nader, now becoming fiercely angry, as he punched at Don Watermeleon?s head. It should have been an easy shot, with Don Watermeleon already subdued in his grasp, but in a flash of green light, Lee Nader?s fist plowed through nothing but air, and Don Watermeleon stood behind his supine opponent, the Pylon which had once lain on the floor now resting in his pristine white glove.

—————–

The Final Solution: Chapter 6

By: Don Watermeleon

Lee Nader turned his body in shock, having been so easily avoided by Don Watermeleon, and letting his guard down in the process. It had been a mistake to have just left the Pylon laying on the ground, but even if he had been holding it in his hand, would that have really made much of a difference?

?Lee Nader, I suppose I truly haven?t been all that fair to you. I just saw it necessary to make sure we took this valuable Pylon into Knight hands, so that we can help further improve the world with its power. Thank you for bringing it to us, I can assure you it shall be put to good use. Of course, if you want a true fight, I?ll be glad to give you one.? said Don Watermeleon sternly, resting his gloved hand around the hilt of his sword.

?Hell yeah! I?m ready for ACTION!? shouted Lee Nader in reply, smiling brightly as he leapt in the air and readied his guns in his hands, before unleashing a barrage of bullets down upon Don Watermeleon.

But in swift, yet more natural speed, Don Watermeleon unsheathed his blade and held it before him. The width of his broadsword blocked all of Lee Nader?s bullets with hardly a problem.

?Our Great Benefactor! This is a mistake. Just kill Nader so we can finish up our mission, please, sir.? pleaded Cheddar from the sidelines, but Don Watermeleon politely silenced him, and jumped in the air to face Lee Nader.

?You?re a good fighter, Lee Nader. You always were, yet you believed that your sheer physical might could make up for your recklessness and lack of strategy. I am here to teach you a lesson?

Don Watermeleon swung the dull side of his blade at Lee Nader?s chest, but it was a slow swing and Lee Nader easily parried it with his two guns.
?Poor shot, Don Watermeleon!? mocked Lee Nader, as he attempted to kick Don Watermeleon before gravity brought him back to the floor, but his distraction at supposedly forcing Don Watermeleon open left himself in the same condition.

Yet Don Watermeleon was not open, and had never been. In hardly a second, Don Watermeleon let go of the hilt and grabbed the two golden tassels which were tied to the bottom of the sword. Wielding the blade almost as a whip, he swung now at the machine guns, slicing them both in half.

After that attack, both Lee Nader and Don Watermeleon fell to the ground. Don Watermeleon gracefully caught himself on his feet, yet Lee Nader dropped on his knees, deep in thought about how he had failed to see Don Watermeleon?s strategy, and how it had to simply been used against him.

?This sword I wield is known as ?The Creator?, and it is handed down to every new Idol. When I die, it will pass on to the next Idol, but hopefully I will not be going anytime soon? The wideness of this blade gives it an excellent use in defense, yet it?s light weight makes it perfect for quick attacks. And as you have noticed, the tassels with hang from it are often mistaken for a decoration, but can be easily used to wield this sword in a completely different manner.? explained Don Watermeleon, still in the same solemn tone, as he held up the blade to show to the fallen Lee Nader. With the extra light shining from the Pylon which Don Watermeleon grasped so gently in his hand, the blade gleamed beautifully, and inscribed on it one could read ?Idol?s in Heaven, all?s right with the World.?

?High Knights Cheddar and Deokishisu, our work here is done. We have a Pylon, though we received it in a way that not even I expected. Let us make leave.? said Don Watermeleon, as he walked right past Lee Nader towards his Knights.

?So, you?re not going to kill us or anything?? asked Foobot, fully expected to have at the least been incarcerated.

?Hm, with Izwzyzx gone, I see no reason that you and your comrade Abwayax cannot improve this place. If you want my opinion, Gammapedia could use a pretty decent?washing, and maybe a paintjob. I suppose I could help a bit.?

Don Watermeleon raised his hand, towards one of the dank, stone walls before him, and it turned white, and the color began to grow until the entire room was completely clean, pure, and gorgeous. The walls had become a thick white marble, and the floors a light blue carpet. Crown molding had suddenly appeared across the ceiling where it had not been before, and crosses of gold and diamond adorned the walls.

?This is all that I shall do for now. Hopefully you can turn Gammapedia to a fine place inside of my Kingdom. Farewell, Terrorists who say Meh.?

Abwayax, finally pulling himself off the floor, began pacing towards Foobot, somewhat happy at the changes that Don Watermeleon had made to the place. Izwzyzx?s body had strangely disappeared, and on what once had been his chair, now was a throne, and the name plate had changed from reading ?Izwzyzx? to ?Abwayax?.

?Terrorists who say Meh? That?s a completely awful name. We are no terrorists, I hope you understand. I propose a name change, maybe to the ?Knights who say Meh?. Foobot, how do you vote?? said Abwayax, now becoming quite happy at the direction the Gammapedia was going. While he had lost all of his comrades but one, the future was bright, and in the end, Don Watermeleon turned out not to be such a bad guy.

?Meh.? replied Foobot, happily. And so it was settled, from now on, the Knights who say Meh would rule Gammapedia.

?What did you guys do to Ragnarok? Are we going to see him again?? asked Abwayax, showing the first of concern since the last few minutes.

?You may see him again, hopefully soon. We at the Knights would like to save him. It?s quite the shame Izwzyzx was too late to repent for his sins. May he live peacefully in Heaven.?

All of them gave their joyous good-byes, and as the Knights saluted Don Watermeleon as he left, and the Knights who say Meh began constructing new ideas to help take Gammapedia in the right direction, things were looking quite fine. But strangely enough, the smiles that adorned Cheddar and Deokishisu?s faces were not those of sincerity, but more?sinister.

As the Knights left Gammapedia, they took a look back at the Knight?s who say Meh?s castle. Don Watermeleon had only redone that one room, and the rest of the building would really need to be fixed.

?Ah, one more thing just could not hurt I suppose?? said Don Watermeleon raising his hand towards the wildly flickering sign, which suddenly turned light gold, and shined as brightly as the sun.

?Our Great Benefactor, if you don?t mind me asking.? spoke Cheddar with a bow, ?Why did you really spare Abwayax, Foobot, and Lee Nader. And forgive me if I am inquiring too much, but we?re not just going to kill Ragnarok or something??

Don Watermeleon gave a hearty laugh, though in a manner not quite as pleasant as he had shown in the Gammapedia before he left. ?I am always glad to help answer the questions of my fellow Knights, High Knight Cheddar. Abwayax and Foobot could be of use to us. We?ve been able to convince them that Izwzyzx was their problem, but without a strong leader, they may turn to us for help. For dependency. I predict that Abwayax will fail to lead them, and before long I?ll be in charge. But they shall follow me to the death, since it would be them who would ask me to lead, and not that I took them over. Lee Nader will just end up destroying himself, so it was not necessary to bloody our hands with him. And as for Ragnarok? Of course we?re not going to kill him. I do have some truly excellent plans in store for him, however.?

As Don Watermeleon finished explaining this to Cheddar and Deokishisu, they boarded up in their royal plane, and headed off at full speed to the Knight?s Citadel, home to all of those ranked Council Knights and lower. The ride was only an hour, and as the dark night began to fade into a gray dawn, the lights of blue, gold, and white could be seen from the distance.

?Hell yeah! I be lovin? KC! Haven?t been there since I got High Knighted, Cheddar-dogg? exclaimed Deokishisu as he peered out of the window.

?Bah Deo, Knight?s Citadel isn?t all that great of a place. It?s where?those lowly Council Knights live. We are much above such people.? replied Cheddar, leaning back in his chair and feeling an essence of superiority.

?Don?t be hatin?, Cheddar. We both was Council Knights once, but Don, he went and made us High Knights. I owe that n*gga mah life.?

?He?s ?Our Great Benefactor? to you, Deo. And yes, despite his strictness, he?s a good leader. And if we continue to follow him so loyally, we can only go up in the ranks. I?m aiming for that Top Knight position, but for whatever reason, Our Great Benefactor values the current one so much. Bah, I hate him our Top Knight?? said Cheddar, but suddenly stopped as the door open a few feet away. Don Watermeleon stepped in, with his hands behind his back, and sat down across from the two High Knights.

?It will be 5 minutes until landing. When we first arrive, I shall allow you two rest, but in the morning we have important business. You shall be awoken to meet with Top Knight Yuzi. Is this clear?? asked Don Watermeleon, and both replied in the traditional term ?Yes, Our Great Benefactor.?

?Good, my fellow High Knights. I shall return when we?ve landed. And show Top Knight Yuzi at least a similar level of respect that you?d show me.?

Don Watermeleon closed the door and returned to his cabin. The mission at Gammapedia had been a success. Not in the way it was intended, but everything turned out good. Dawn was continuing to grow, and before long it would fade into morning. But that would be in many hours? Many hours before the threshold to a new adventure was entered.

The Final Solution: Chapter 7

By: Don Watermeleon

?High Knight Deokishisu. It is time for you to awaken.? called Don Watermeleon from outside Deokishisu?s room as he lightly tapped on his door.

Despite being the home for Council Knights, which were one rank lower than the High Knight, Knight?s Citadel was a beautiful place. Ever since Don Watermeleon took power, he saw to it that the Citadel was completely refurbished in a more ?Knightly? image, and in that he succeeded. But amidst the gorgeous architectural detail and tedious carvings which adorned every room in the Citadel, to most people it was a boring place, and the only colors one would ever find here were silver, sky blue, and gold.

?Wha, yo? You?ve got to be kidding me. It?s so early!? replied Deokishisu, groggily, as he placed a pillow over his head in hopes of getting back to sleep.

?High Knight Deokishisu? If you weren?t one of my personal Knights, do you realize how severely reprimanded you would be for speaking to me like that? Now arise, please, my fellow High Knight.?

?Okay, okay. My bad, Our Great Benefactor. Just give me a second??

5 minutes later, Deokishisu opened the door, facing Don Watermeleon, who hads his hands behind his back and standing a good five feet taller.

?High Knight Cheddar should be arriving in just a second. It would be quite rude to keep Top Knight Yuzi waiting for too long, don?t you agree? Oh, wait, looks like High Knight Cheddar is here.?

Down the hallway, two figures were coming into view. Don Watermeleon was walking beside Cheddar, and steadily approached Deokishisu who too was standing next to Don Watermeleon. In shock, Deokishisu looked back from the Don Watermeleon escorting Cheddar to the Don Watermeleon standing right beside him, until finally drawing his gun to speak.

?What the f*ck is going on here! Don, there?s an imposter! Yo, let me glock him, sir.? shouted Deokishisu as he pointed his gun to the Don Watermeleon beside Cheddar, but then didn?t seem to know which one was the real Don Watermeleon?

?Ah, my silly High Knight. There?s no imposter,? laughed both Don Watermeleons in tandem, ?I felt for added efficiency that I ought to wake you both up at the same time, but I?d have to be in two places at once to do that, so I merely split myself into two. Of course, when I arrived at High Knight Cheddar?s room, I found him having awoken an hour early, preparing his report for Top Knight Yuzi.?

?Bah, that?s exactly something Cheddar would do.? scoffed Deokishisu as he placed his gun back in his jacket and the two Don Watermeleon walked into each other, merging them again as one. But it was more of a tease than an insult, and Cheddar took it well.

?I have some business to do with this Pylon,? said Don Watermeleon as he opened his hand revealing the stunning green glow that the jewel emitted, before again closing his hand, concealing the light. ?I shall not be too long. You two have lived here for quite a while, you shouldn?t have any trouble finding the throne room of the Knight?s Citadel. Please go to Top Knight Yuzi, and I shall meet you two in a second.?

The hallway that lead to the throne room was a long one at the least, but fortunately the scenery made the walk a bit nicer. A gigantic waterfall lined both sides of the stone walkway, incasing it in a slight mist but not drenching either of the High Knights. Before long, Deokishisu and Cheddar eyed a large silver door with doorknobs shaped as crossed, and a drawing of a scale, weighing a feather and a heart inscribed upon it.

?Wow, Our Great Benefactor has really redone this place. I haven?t been here since he took over. I like it a lot better though.? said Cheddar, as he made brief conversation before opening the door.

?Nah, I be liking the old KC better, man. Waterfalls and statues are uncool, dogg. I mean, we don?t even be lookin? like we?re an army, more like we?re trying to start a crusade or something.?

?Heh, is there something wrong with a crusade? Don?t complain about what Our Great Benefactor has blessed upon us. You should never take for granted Our Idol?s blessings.?

Deokishisu could hardly stifle a laugh at Cheddar?s last comments. He greatly respect Don Watermeleon as a leader, even though he didn?t always show it, but it seemed ridiculous that so many people worshiped him as a god. Just 10 years ago, Don Watermeleon was merely a Council Knight, but so many people seem not to speak about his more human past. But whether he was a god or not, he would serve Don Watermeleon to the death, for he knew the first creed of a Knight was loyalty.

At last, Cheddar knocked upon the great silver door, and it was opened by two Council Knights. An immense staircase, standing probably around 20 stories tall was the first thing Cheddar and Deokishisu saw, and they sighed at how much walking they were having to do just to meet with the Top Knight. That staircase wasn?t there before Don Watermeleon, but it added an interesting design to the place, and it was common Knight tradition that rulers sat as high to the sky as possible. All the closer to Heaven.

?Top Knight Yuzi. We come to you by orders of Our Great Benefactor to speak of the Gammapedian Raid. Will you hear us out?? inquired Cheddar nobly after he climbed the final step, standing with the straightest and most honorable posture he could. While Yuzi was lower ranked than Don Watermeleon, both he and Deokishisu spent so much time around the Idol they almost had some sort of a friendship with him, and could get away with a bit of casualness here or there (In Deokishisu?s case, all the time). But they seldom saw the Top Knight, and it was there duty to impress him.

Top Knight Yuzi sat non-chalantly in his throne, which was the second most astounding throne that they had seen, second to Don Watermeleon?s of course. The seat portion, built of fine silver and sapphire, fit Yuzi perfectly, yet the back of the throne was as large as a wall. Carved out of it was a large statue of Don Watermeleon, standing nearly as tall as the Gammapedia had been, holding the Idol?s sword downwards, the blade forming most of the throne?s back. Two womanly angels held themselves around Don Watermeleon, pointing strung bows towards the staircase where most would enter. Two High Knights held large flags beside Yuzi?s throne, yet the Top Knight Yuzi seemed completely unfazed by all this glamour.

?Ah yes, Cheddar and Deokishisu. Our Great Benefactor has told me greatly of you two. But don?t let me be rude, allow me to introduce my High Knights as well. This is High Knight Kannon,? said Yuzi, as he pointed to the Knight on his right who smiled and bowed before Cheddar and Deokishisu, ?And this is High Knight Divine E.? The Knight on the left also bowed before Cheddar and Deokishisu, but it seemed far more forced and he did not show any pleasant emotion towards them.

?What do you two have to share on your conquest to Gammapedia?? asked Yuzi, as he briefly rubbed his silver hair, though strangely with this hair color was not much older than Don Watermeon, and sat up a bit in his chair. He evidently had better things he wanted to do, but respectfully accepted Cheddar and Deokishisu?s invitation and listened to what they had to say.

?The mission to Gammapedia was a success. One casualty was sustained on the enemy?s side, and one taken captive, who currently is in Knight hands. Izwzyzx proved not to possess any Pylons, yet by sheer fortune, High Knight, um, Lee Nader arrived with a Pylon and was promptly defeated by Our Great Benefactor, who now has an additional Pylon. High Knight Lee Nader was not killed. The Terrorists who say–?

Cheddar?s speech was interrupted as Divine E dropped his flag and began striding towards Cheddar and Deokishisu. It was a mortal taboo of the Knights never to mention Lee Nader?s name, especially not with his former rank attached, do to the heinous treason he had committed against the Knights 10 years ago, yet Cheddar, with seemingly little uneasiness had said it twice, angering Divine E and causing Kannon to cast a few agitated glances. Yuzi, however, seemed completely unfazed.

?How dare you, Cheddar, mention such a monster?s name before my Top Knight!? roared Divine E in fury. ?Don?t disrespect my Master.?

Divine E gripped at his hilt, glaring back at Cheddar. After Yuzi ordered him to calm down, he held the flag once more, but continued to stare angrily at Cheddar.

?Ha, how dare you speak to me in such a manner. I take orders directly from Our Great Benefactor, your only job is to spend the day waving a flag before a lower-classed leader…? mocked Cheddar loudly to Divine E, a menacing smile growing on his face. Deokishisu nudged him a bit to chill out too, but still Cheddar didn?t take his eyes off Divine E.

Yuzi leaned back in his chair and sighed. He had much preferred his job as a High Knight, dealing with insubordinate soldiers wasn?t quite his forte. The problem would resolve itself, he supposed. Might as well watch the show.

?Why you?bastard, Cheddar. Don?t ever speak to me or my Top Knight like that ever again!? roared Divine E, his hot-headed demeanor now reaching its peak. He finally unsheathed his sword, causing a shout from Cheddar in surprise, for he had not anticipated a battle, and Divine E flung the blade carelessly yet accurately at his opposing High Knight.

But as the blade flew mid-way towards Cheddar, suddenly its momentum stopped as a gloved hand took grasp of it, and lowered it to his side. Yuzi smiled, fully anticipating Don Watermeleon to just show up like this, and again sat up in his chair to see what would go on.

?High Knight Divine E?? Don Watermeleon said harshly, turning to face him. ?It is not your job to attempt harm towards my Knights. And High Knight Cheddar,? continued Don Watermeleon, as he turned around once more to face his own Knight. ?Behave…?

?Ah, Our Great Benefactor. What a pleasure to see that you?ve arrived.? exclaimed Yuzi, as he finally arose from his throne and bowed, the other four High Knights doing the same.

?The pleasure is mine,? replied Don Watermeleon, finally dropping his serious attitude as the people in the room calmed themselves. Don Watermeleon slowly walked to Divine E, handing him his sword before returning to his place in front of his two High Knights, facing Yuzi.
?Our Great Benefactor, forgive my lack of control on our Knights. I just thought that perhaps such high ranking soldiers could have shown somewhat greater manners. Unfortunately, I was mistaken,? said Yuzi, as Cheddar and Divine E stared at the ground in shame. ?But I think we?ve discussed the mission at Gammapedia enough,? continued Top KnightYuzi, ?Our Great Benefactor, do you think it?s time we shared information on Project Calliope with them??

?Why certainly, Top Knight Yuzi. It is time.?

The Final Solution: Chapter 8

By: Don Watermeleon

?The appearance of Lee Nader has been expected for quite a long time, but to be quite honest we were surprised to find him appear at the Gammapedia. Lee Nader is a most powerful foe, one that will require all of the Knights? insurmountable strength to take down.? explained Don Watermeleon, in his deep voice to the Knights before him.

?Yes, a most powerful foe indeed…? replied Yuzi, as he leaned back in his throne, his gloved finger unconsciously caressing a long scar that Cheddar and Deokishisu had just noticed which stretched down his left cheek. It hardly looked bad, though. Obviously it had had a long time to heal.

?Former High Knight Lee Nader could pose a serious threat to our quest to garner additional Pylons, which is why we have commissioned a special Knight to help deal with the situation. Let me?introduce you to this special Knight, comrades.? said Don Watermeleon as he crossed his arms. He spoke his last lines with a bit of uneasiness that was not usual to him, as if he was expecting his fellow Knights to be disappointed.

?Our Heavenly Benefactor, I want you to know that I shall stand by this new Knight and welcome him as loyally as I would serve you. I have your back, sir.? said Cheddar with a bow, sucking up as he usually did.

?Our Heavenly Benefactor?? mumbled Kannon to himself, ?I could have been sworn the title was ?Our Great Benefactor?. Stupid plot holes??

?Council Knights! Let the new High Knight enter!? boomed Don Watermeleon as he spoke to the Knights below the staircase. The large metal door could be heard opening, and before long, the new Knight made it to the top, widening the eyes of all the Knights in the room with shock besides Yuzi and Don Watermeleon.

For the new High Knight was quite unlike the rest, the new High Knight was a woman, and the uniform she wore seemed a travesty of the traditional High Knight outfit. Instead of pants, she wore a short mini-skirt, her silver shoes were high-heels, and her jacket was cut low enough to expose a decent amount of cleavage. She kneeled before Don Watermeleon with a smile, before being given permission to rise and introduce myself.

?Good day everyone, I am the High Knight Darkness Within, and am quite pleased to be working with my fellow Knights on the Project Calliope case!?

?What mockery is this?!? shouted Cheddar as he stepped back, ?A woman as a Knight? That?s more ridiculous than having a homosexual in our ranks!?

?Chillax, Cheddar!? laughed Deokishisu as he stepped up to face the new High Knight. ?Our Heavenly Benefactor hired a bitch for us, dawg, I knew he be the best leader ever! Hello woman, you can call me Deo.?

?Pleasant to meet you, High Knight, er, Deo. But we have very important business to discuss about Lee Nader, as I?m sure you realize,? replied Darkness Within uncomfortably as she politely brushed Deokishisu out of her way.

?Yo, isn?t she funny, Cheddar? It?s really cute when womans think they can be doing a man?s job. I think I like her already.? said Deokishisu with a broad smile as he stepped back to Don Watermeleon?s side, though Cheddar still looked utterly disgusted.

?Enough, my High Knights! Your immaturity knows no bounds, I cannot believe you would behave in such a way to your new comrade. Forgive High Knights Cheddar and Deokishisu, my lady High Knight Darkness Within.? spoke Don Watermeleon in both a polite yet commanding fashion, and Cheddar and Deokishisu instantly shut up.

?I knew those two were trash. The only reason Our Heavenly Benefactor lets them follow him around is because they always get in trouble on their own. How useless!? said Divine E with a scowl, but he too stopped speaking when Yuzi turned his head at him, not wanting to face punishment from either of his superiors.

?Nevertheless,? said Don Watermeleon after a brief silence in the room, ?Before I discussed Project Calliope with you a few weeks ago, you had been commanded to secretly begin an investigation of various Pylon locations. Have you been successful in your search, High Knight Darkness Within??

?Why yes, Our Heavenly Benefactor, in fact I have. My team uncovered a Pylon, and it was shipped to AGS for evaluation, and I would think the process should be finished by now. I entrusted Regent Knight Marry to keep it safe while I traveled to the Knight?s Citadel.?

?She was entrusted with a team of Knights? How?absurd.? said Cheddar to himself. Don Watermeleon ignored him, though, and continued speaking to Darkness Within.

?Very good, High Knight Darkness Within. Let us speak with the Regent Knight and have him send that Pylon over here. Two Pylons in two days, we?re moving at an impressive pace. High Knight Kannon, you have always been the expert at computers, please turn the main screen on.?

?As you wish, Our Heavenly Benefactor.? replied Kannon, as he unsheathed his sword. The hilt was covered by numerous light blue buttons with various labels pasted on them. Within an instant, he pressed down on one button, and a large television screen slid down from the ceiling and came into view of all the Knights in the room.

Don Watermeleon, not feeling like wasting the time of giving another order, merely raised his hand at the screen, and it instantly it connected to AGS, where Regent Knight Marry sat in his throne, which was slightly less striking than Yuzi?s, but still undoubtedly grandiose.

There were very few Regent Knights in service to the Council of Knights. Usually, they were High Knights promoted to oversee a region that was under Knight control. However, their authority was absolute over the area they controlled, and as with most prominent-ranking Knights, they had two High Knights in service.

?Our Heavenly Benefactor, I have to say I wasn?t expecting to see you. How are you, my Idol?? asked Marry politely, obviously surprised to be interrupted by Don Watermeleon.

?I have been told that you have valiantly taken care of a valuable Pylon, and I thank you for your service in such. But I would like to request that it shall be delivered here immediately, for with Lee Nader on the loose, it will only be safe with me.?

?Yes, yes, I do indeed have that Pylon in my possession. However, we haven?t fully been able to test it to ensure its authenticity. This process is painstakingly difficult, sir. So I offer you my most humblest apologies, Our Heavenly Benefactor… We should not take much longer.? replied Marry, as he twisted his blue scarf around nervously.

?Is that so? High Knight Darkness Within has stated that you would be finished soon. I do my best to give my Knights a purpose, but to be quite honest I could run this entire organization myself. I would appreciate the Pylon at once, my good Knight, so I ask that you do not keep me waiting any longer.?

?Our Heavenly Benefactor, please just give us some more time. Within one week, I can assure you that it shall be delivered directly to your throne personally by my High Knights. Now if you will excuse me, I?m going to take another look at that potential Pylon to hopefully speed up the evaluation. Always nice to chat with you, Our Heavenly Benefactor.?

?Ah yes, and same with you. Good-bye, Regent Knight Marry.? replied Don Watermeleon in a friendly tone, as he raised his arm and the screen went blank. However, he turned around and faced his Knights, an air of disappointment arising around him.

?It should not take that long to test a Pylon?s ?authenticity?. Could he not just wield the Pylon and see if it contained magical properties? Regent Knight Marry should not be trusted right now, and unfortunately it would seem that Project Calliope will have to be put on hold. By tonight, we shall fly to AGS and see exactly what is going on??

~~~~~~~~
?Mwak, Caecilius, there is a dilemma!? shouted Marry as he anxiously rose from his throne.
Two High Knights entered the wide marble throne room from a hallway, bowed, and listened to hear what their Regent Knight had to say.
?Don Watermeleon seems to want the Pylon right now?something we just can?t let him have. But I fear he might come here before long. Can you ensure the security of our secret??
?Yes, my Regent Knight. I will have a false Pylon built, which we will present to him if he demands it, and shall fortify our security incase he comes wanting a fight.? said Mwak confidently to Marry, who nodded his head in agreement.
?And you, Caecilius. Surely you have plans to help our situation?? asked Marry now to the other High Knight who stood besides Mwak.
?Of course, sir. I have a most brilliant plan. Newo shall be called in right away…?
?Excellent, Caecilius. At all costs Don Watermeleon must not take our Pylon from us!? exclaimed Marry with a grin as he opened his fist, revealing a large jewel that illuminated the entire room with gleaming green light.
The Final Solution: Chapter 9
By: Don Watermeleon
?Who?s there?? shouted Phrawger, astonished, as he spotted a large shadow moving past his window. He?d done his best to set up an office in a place where very few people would probably be stopping by. Just to play it safe, though, Phrawger drew his gun and waited to see if the mysterious man came in.
The door slammed open, and just as Phrawger was about to take the shot, he recognized the familiar green camo and lowered his weapon, breathing a sigh of relief.
?Hey Phrawger-man, I?m back. You never told me that you moved to GCL, do you know how hard it was to find you? Wait, is that a Knight?s issue pistol?? inquired Lee Nader curiously, as he hung his jacket and pulled up a chair to sit in front of Phrawger.
?Yes, indeed it is. I stole it from a Knight a few days ago. You never can have too many guns in the business I?m in.? laughed Phrawger, as he offered Lee Nader a cup of coffee, which he accepted, ?But to be honest, I?m not permanently here in GCL, just to do a little spying that Blaze told me to. Ever since Don Watermeleon stationed that bastard, the Regent Knight GoldSage here in Glitch City Laboratories, things have been horrible. The city?s become a mini-Knight?s Citadel.?
?That?s quite a shame… Anyway, how?s your sister been?? asked Lee Nader politely, doing his best to change the subject from the Knights. He knew that once Phrawger brought it up again, he?d have to admit how easily he was defeated back at Gammapedia?and how he lost a Pylon to Don Watermeleon.
?Oh, she?s been very good. Thanks for asking. But anyway?? continued Phrawger, as he took a little sip of coffee, before setting it down with a smile and awaiting the news eagerly, ?Did Izwzyzx lend us any Pylons??
?Um?there was a minor complication. Apparently, Don Watermeleon was looking for the same thing, and arrived the exact time I did. Very inconveniencing and all. However, surprisingly enough, it turned out Izwzyzx was a fraud all along, and didn?t have any Pylons. Oh yeah, and Don Watermeleon stole the Pylon you had me borrow incase there was trouble.?
Lee Nader smiled as brightly as he could, glimmering his extremely white teeth that only proved he had indeed been a Knight at one time in his life. His expression failed to be very friendly, seeming to be far more uneasy, and Phrawger, petrified in shock, let his coffee cup slip from his hand which shattered upon the cement floor, and ruined his fairly nice Archmage boots.
?You?you lost a Pylon? Lost our only Pylon to Don Watermeleon?! You?re joking Lee Nader? He?s already got over 6,000, that?s one more for his collection I guess! Damn it, you?re a disgrace Lee!? shouted Phrawger in sudden anger, as he stood up, doing his best to attempt to intimidate Lee Nader with his glare.
But Lee Nader too jumped up and stared Phrawger back down. Phrawger, obviously not wanting to fight, slowly sat back in his seat and covered his eyes with his hand, groaning in disappointment.
?Lee Nader,? grumbled Phrawger, ?You understand I?m going to have to fire you from the Archmages of Truth for this, don?t you realize the problems that we now have after losing a Pylon to our enemy? Just look outside, you?ve now helped out the Knights, the people who are ?unofficially? taking us over. Haven?t you heard the reports, Knights here have been brutally killing those who oppose Don Watermeleon here, a haven for people against the Knights, citing the infamous Rule 8 to justify the cause. All on GoldSage?s orders, though I cannot understand why Abwayax is just looking the other way on this, the Knights must be giving him one hell of a check.?
?That?s insane? I?m sorry about the Pylon, Phrawger, but I want to see you stand up to Melonhead, you probably wouldn?t fair any better. Just give me one more chance, I think if I can ever get in touch with Abwayax, maybe I could warn him or something. I met him back at the Gammapedia, we, uh, sort of got along.? said Lee Nader, remembering with a grimace about how he was about to use Abwayax as a human shield against the Knights. He wasn?t so sure Abwayax would be all too ready to help him.
?I?m not always so quick to reinstate members, but considering we don?t have all too many, I?ll let you back in if you can do me a little favor. I have a letter that I need delivered to a high-ranking official here at GCL: Kyoukipichi. Actually he could probably be your best bet at seeing Abwayax. Of course, I can?t email it to him, probably anything we do online is tracked by the Knights?? said Phrawger, as he pulled a tightly sealed letter out of his desk and handed it to Lee Nader. As Lee Nader took the letter, Phrawger grasped his hand and looked sternly into Lee?s face, saying as seriously as he had all evening, ?And please, do not read the message, deliver it at once to Kyoukipichi. He lives around the inner areas of GCL, his manor should not be too hard to find.?
?Before I go,? replied Lee Nader as he stood up and headed towards the door, ?Do you know a place where I can get my guns repaired? Don Watermeleon sort of cut them in half.? laughed Lee Nader coldly at his situation as he pointed to the ruined machine guns which were strapped to his back.
?Just leave them here with me, and I?ll get a mechanic to have them as good as new by the time you return. Now if you?ll excuse me, I have a phone call to make.?
?Alright, Phrawger. I?ll see you later, I suppose. Good luck with your Archmages.? After setting down his weapons by Phrawger?s desk, and grapping his jacket, Lee Nader finally left the office and decided he had enough time to explore GCL a bit; to see if it really was all that much different from the last time he was here. He recalled Abwayax and Don Watermeleon forming an alliance back at Gammapedia, but he could tell it would be hollow, and one-sided, in the Knight?s favor as usual. But just walking down a few streets had made it quite clear that in under a day, the Knights had gained full control over the entire city.
But then something just didn?t seem right. How exactly could the Knights have gained complete control, and filled GCL with all of their trash statues of crosses and Don Watermelon in less than 24 hours? How could they have built all this, and gained the favor of the Knights who say Meh, in such little time? Perhaps with Pylon usage, but if Don Watermeleon was here, there?d be no need for a Regent Knight. Maybe the Regent Knight GoldSage had been allowed a Pylon, but knowing Don Watermeleon, that seemed extremely unlike him.
Lee Nader knew his way around GCL quite well, despite the fact he?d only been here a few times. The layout of the city was fairly the same, only considerably more?Knightly. As Lee Nader studied the citizens closely, they all appeared in a rush, most running down this long roadway, which Lee Nader recalled, led after a considerable distance to the main Laboratory, Melchior, where most of the glitching experiments were performed. Of course, he was sure that probably wasn?t the only thing down that road, so he though he?d ask a nearby person what was going on.
?Hey dude,? he called out to a young man who was walking briskly behind him, ?Where?s everybody going??
?Haven?t you heard? We?re all going to volunteer in that experiment the Knights are performing. Abwayax announced that we?re finally at peace with them. About time!? the man replied, and he hurried past Lee Nader.
Lee had been right, but what sort of ?Knight experiment? was he talking about? It didn?t seem like much of Don Watermeleon style to experiment on living people, he was always better than that, but what if this GoldSage man had completely usurped the city. It wouldn?t be the first time a Knight had disobeyed orders and acted on his own. Lee Nader laughed as a memory flashed back in his head.
?Maybe you?ll have a new friend, Yuzi?? muttered Lee Nader with a grin as he too decided to walk through the road to the laboratory, when suddenly he remembered his business with Kyoukipichi. Perhaps, if he was a friend as Phrawger believes, he could get a bit of information from somebody so high up. Better go there first. But Lee Nader froze as he heard a voice, not one that sounded familiar but spoke in a familiar manner, a dialect he knew all too well.
?My Idol! Are you Lee Nader? I can?t believe it, you?re the same as from the history books!? laughed a man from behind him as he heard a pistol click. Arrogant, definitely he was a High Knight, but probably one for a lesser Regent Knight, as he was cowardly enough to sneak up from the back, showing a lack of honor.
?You think you can take me, Knight?? Lee Nader laughed, as he slammed his fists together and twirled around to see if he knew the guy. It?d be nice if he had his machine guns with him, but he didn?t need them to win this battle. He only hoped he?d make it to Kyoukipichi without wasting too much time.
?Actually, I?m sure of it. I just received a call from the Regent Knight to destroy you…under any circumstances.? the man laughed, menacingly, and 10 Knight troops came from behind him and surrounded Lee Nader, brandishing their weapons pridefully.
But they wielded not swords, nor guns, but Pylons, glowing bright green across the pavement. Though the glow seemed far smaller and less radiant than the one he used in Gammapedia, perhaps because he was now in daylight. Yet, how could these lowly Council Knights be allowed to wield a Pylon, obviously Don Watermeleon must have lent them some, seeing as they had more than there are Pylons left to find? But Lee Nader could tell there was something up, and felt like digging his nose a bit further before he was forced to battle, where he was severely out-numbered.
?You, with the gun, who the hell are you? And who is your superior officer?? called Lee Nader angrily as he pulled out and unsheathed a large knife from his jacket, ?I?m sort of in a hurry, so let?s finish this up quickly.?
?My name is quite unimportant, and if it weren?t obvious, I work for the Regent Knight GoldSage, and after him, I serve only Our Heavenly Benefactor. But I can assure you that you won?t live long enough to even care. I?ll put a simple end to you, Lee Nader.? the High Knight snickered, he too revealing a Pylon in his other hand, and immediately shot a large green laser directly at Lee Nader?
———–
The Final Solution: Chapter 10
By: Don Watermeleon
Lee?s eyes perked wide open as he just narrowly slid past the laser that whirled right by his head and hit the Council Knight behind him, completely evaporating him. Murmurs erupted from the other 9 Council Knights, still standing around Lee Nader.
?Er?silence, soldiers! This man has already caused one fatality among us!? the High Knight shouted as he started to appear a bit nervous.
The High Knight stretched out his arm, and a laser-ish sword emerged from the Pylon. The Council Knights began to form a circle around their leader and Lee Nader, stopping any of the citizens, who began intently watching the battle, from intruding on the fight.
The High Knight leapt at Lee Nader with a roar, who parried the strike with his own long knife and pushed the Knight backwards. As the High Knight flew in the air, Lee grabbed his legs and slammed him hard onto to paved floor, causing him to drop his gun but the Pylon remained stiff in his hand.
?You definitely have skill, Lee Nader?? groaned the High Knight as he wiped his hand on his forehead, smearing it with blood. ?But you see, this tool that we have, the Pylon, is incomparable to any weapon invented by man. No talent you may hone can stop me with it!? yelled the High Knight as he raised the beam sword in Lee Nader?s direction, which suddenly extended in the air and impaled him, grounding Lee right where the killed Council Knight had been
?Hm, you might be right, there?s no way I could stop you, wielding a Pylon and all.? spoke Lee with an equally raspy voice as he examined his wound on his stomach. Despite being incredibly painful, it was a fortunate hit, as it had just barely missed his stomach. ?But you see, I just might have one too!?
Lee Nader grabbed at the Pylon that lay where the Knight had been obliterated just as the High Knight was getting to his feet, and with a flash of light the 9 Knights surrounding him suddenly were knocked unconscious, revealing  an audience of nearly a hundred frightened people, who scattered as they saw his face.
?High Knight, looks like we may finally be able to have a real fight now, huh? This Pylon feels so strange to me, though? Not like the one I used just a day ago. Nonetheless, let me show you technique I learned a long time ago? taunted Lee Nader as he hovered the High Knight into the air, and swung him hard against a nearby building.
?Damn, this isn?t supposed to happen. Surely the Regent Knight won?t blame me for this, I have had no experience with using one of these Pylons?? the High Knight mumbled as he again, with much difficulty, made it back to his feet and prepared to jump at Lee again.
But to the High Knight?s shock, Lee?s eyes began to glow bright green, the entire sky and area around him darkening to a hushed shade as from Lee Nader?s mouth, he shouted a simple line in an echo-y tone comparable to Don Watermeleon?s.
?PREEMINENCE LASER!?
The Pylon began spinning rapidly in Lee?s grasp, until even the trained eye could not make out its jewel shape. Slowly, the orb of light surrounding the Pylon grew and grew until it was twice the size of Lee. And just as he was about to trigger the most powerful attack in history, the light suddenly flattened and everything seemed to have gone back to normal?
?So, you?re the Lee Nader I?ve heard so much about?? came a calm voice from behind him. Still surprised at why his Preeminence Laser had just shut down, Lee spun around to confront the stranger, a man of strong stature, clad in a long red coat with a three-circle logo on his chest pocket, the letters ?G?, ?C?, and ?L? engraved on each of them.
But even more astonishing was the fact that behind him, no one else was moving. Almost as if they were stuck in time. Actually, quite literally, as the only two things that seemed to be stirring were Lee Nader and this man.
?Who?are you?? growled Lee Nader, as he attempted to spark even a minute bit of power from his Pylon, but it too seemed not to work.
?You can call me Kyoukipichi, I?m an Administrator here at GCL, one of the, well, original ones before the Knights arrived. If you don?t mind me commenting, you ought to be thankful I stopped your Preeminence Laser. I?m most impressed that you actually knew how to use that skill, but if you haven?t noticed, these Pylons aren?t quite like the ones you and I are familiar with.? replied the man with a pleasant smile. He did not seem like an enemy, but the sheer fact that he froze all of GCL and thwarted Lee?s attack with hardly a sweat kept Lee Nader wary. Does he too wield a Pylon?
?Alright then, Kyoukipichi.? said Lee Nader as he let the Pylon fall from his grip. It seemed to have changed color a bit since he picked it up, perhaps being a bit whiter. Though maybe it was just his eyes playing tricks on him, ?What exactly do you want with me? I?ve heard about you in the past, but how can I be sure you?re just not another one of GoldSage?s pawns like this High Knight here??
?Ah, Ryan you mean? He?s not such a bad guy if you get to know him, but you?re right in calling him a pawn. He follows the Knight?s Creed blindly. But in all honesty, I despise them with all my heart, especially since they?re unofficially usurped Glitch City Laboratories. I want to take back this city, and I could use your help. But first, please, let me show you to my house where we can speak in private.?
Kyoukipichi lived in the central area of GCL. It was not all that far of a walk, and mid-way in their little stroll Kyoukipichi re-activated time again, though far enough from where the High Knight Ryan lay. The two of them talked tirelessly of Lee Nader?s travels and GoldSage?s arrival at GCL just yesterday, but Kyoukipichi hushed Lee when he asked about the experiments at Melchior, telling him he?d explain when he got to his house.
At last, Lee Nader and Kyoukipichi arrived at the front gate of his manor. It was one of the largest mansions on the block, built six floors high of red brick. In front of the house was an immense garden, larger than the house itself, lined with statues of various glitches that had been discovered in the city.
?My staff are more than trustworthy, that I can assure you. I?ll tell you all about Melchior when we get to my office, but after the stunt I just pulled with Ryan back there, the Regent Knight won?t be happy. They last thing he?d want is for Don Watermeleon to come here in search of you and discover his corruption.?
?Wait, so you?re telling me that Watermeleon isn?t behind this at all? What about Yuzi, or the rest of the Knights? Phrawger told me quite differently.? asked Lee Nader, more confused than he?d been all day, ?But wait, I have a message for you from Phrawger. Heh, good thing I didn?t forget about this.?
With a slightly tense laugh, Lee pulled the note from his pocket as a butler opened the large wooden door at the front of the house, and handed it to Kyoukpichi. The inside was equally grand as the front; very antique and beautiful in style. Two staircases curved to a second floor, which Kyoukpichi motioned Lee Nader to go up while he clutched the message in his hand.
?I?ll read this note when we get to my office,? said Kyoukipichi as he showed Lee Nader the way, and as they both entered the room he continued, ?Now please, sit down. I can order you a cup of tea if you want.?
Kyoukipichi sat down in a large leather chair, shuffled a few papers off of his desk, and lay the message down so only he could see it, giving a soft chuckle as he read through the letter.
?Nah, I?m alright. Even as a Knight, tea never was my kind of drink. But I?ve waited long enough, I really could use some answers. What the hell is going on at Melchior, and with the Knights populating most of GCL? And if what you told me was true, maybe it?s just this GoldSage dude and not the Knights. Still, that?s not what Phrawger told me?how long have you known him anyway?? inquired Lee Nader, a new suspicion about Kyoukipichi growing in him. Everything just happened too quickly, meeting this new ally and all, with such immense power. And maybe he had just stopped his attack to save High Knight Ryan?
?I?ve known Phrawger long enough, and if you want a piece of advice, I?d stay away from him if I were you. But you do deserve information, Lee Nader. Ever since GoldSage apparently conned his way into being Regent Knight at GCL, he?s used our main laboratory, Melchior as his testing ground for creating artificial Pylons. All of this has been done under Don Watermeleon?s nose, or, well, you know what I mean.? laughed both of them as they imagined the great Knight Idol?s rather ?different? face. But Kyoukipichi became stern yet again as he continued, ?In creating these artificial Pylons, however, human sacrifices were necessary for this sort of magic. GoldSage created a clever ploy by inviting people to watch the process of producing a new Pylon, not telling them exactly how one is made. People walk right into a literal pathway to their doom. And under Abwayax?s control, this never would have happened, but unfortunately they?re keeping him into the dark by disallowing any of his Administrators to visit him for ?security? reasons. Complete bullshit.?
Kyoukipichi sighed heavily, and placed his elbows on his desk, opening one of his hands to reveal a Pylon, which seemed to just appear from thin air. But this one had a different vibe than the ones used by the rogue Knights just a few minutes ago. Suddenly, as the rich light gleamed over Lee Nader, his body was filled with pleasure and happiness, a sentiment only a true Pylon could bring.
?Lee Nader, to help my cause and free us from that wicked GoldSage, I would like to present to you GCL?s sole Pylon, one I unfortunately had to, well, receive under unorthodox measures since GoldSage would never allow Abwayax to give it to me. I have a bit left to tell you, something about the Regent Knight that you may already know. But first let me give you both the Pylon and this message, one I think you too ought to read.?
?Well, thanks a lot, Kyoukipichi. I?m pretty pumped to get a Pylon again, and I sure hope I don?t lose it as fast as I did my last. I appreciate this greatly, but I remember that Phrawger really didn?t seem to want me to read this note. Maybe I shouldn?t.? replied Lee Nader as he stood up to receive Kyoukipichi?s gifts.
?Oh, you definitely should.? was Kyoukipichi?s stiff response as he too stood up, with the Pylon in one hand and the note in the other.
?M-master, Regent Knight GoldSage? There was a slight problem with my interception of Lee Nader. I don?t know quite what happened, but one second Lee Nader was about to fire a Preeminence Laser at me, and the next he just was?gone?? pleaded Ryan as he lowered himself to his knee, looking not to GoldSage but instead at the ground.
?What is this you say? You failed me, Ryan? You know how much I despise failure, perhaps I ought to do that to you again?? shouted the Regent Knight in anger from his throne, his golden scarf hanging loosely against his chest.
?Sir, my beloved Regent Knight. Not again? Someone with a Pylon, a real Pylon, must have interfered with my fight. But who could it be??
?Abwayax definitely wouldn?t be a threat, he?s right under my fingertips,? laughed GoldSage wickedly as he grinned brightly, crossing his arms, ?You Know Who is on a mission right now, and definitely wouldn?t betray me, so he?s out of the question. Zach is stationed over at Melchior, if I?m not mistaken, and Foobot with Abwayax, so this leaves only one left. And to think he seemed loyal enough to me, I?m most displeased. I shall give you the worst punishment of all?Kyoukpichi??
?Like what?? inquired Ryan as he slowly looked up, but a piercing glance from GoldSage had him again pressed against the floor.
?Merely erase him from ever existing. With the omnipotent power I wield, nothing is impossible. And if you don?t leave right now, I?ll do the same for you. By the way, make sure Melonhead learns nothing about Lee Nader?s visit to GCL. And I mean NOTHING! He definitely would be quite the inconvenience in my plans.?
?Of course, my Regent Knight. I?ll get to it right away.? replied Ryan softly as he turned around the left the room in a hurry, not once looking back at GoldSage. Just as the door closed, GoldSage?s smile thickened, as hundreds of green Pylons appeared floating around him, then thousands, and then millions?
?Nothing can stop me now! Farewell, Kyoukipichi. You won?t be missed.? GoldSage said to himself as the Pylons surrounded him suddenly began to glow brightly?
Is it wrong for me to love the fact that the GoldSage character wields an absurd amount of power?
…nah.
