Going into the Pokemon Center breaks the WTW.

The Pokémon Center is only entered on poison whiteout, and when the Safari Zone step counter is still active.

EDIT: wait a minute, Gen I quirkiness strikes again, doesn't it? Whiting out puts you outside of the Pokémon Center, doesn't it?

In that case going into the Trade Center and whiting out in there would have to be done while the Safari Zone's step counter is running.

I've honestly been wondering when the documentation on International Glitch Pokemon would be added to the wiki. While I haven't updated any of my research in forever, it'll still be cool to see the documentation on the wiki in the future. :)

Now that the English Generation I GlitchDex articles are done, I've added our first non-English GlitchDex article to the wiki. :)

http://glitchcity.info/wiki/GlitchDexJP/Y:237

I have also opened up a request article. Feel free to add requests here, that way me (or another user) can add select glitch Pokémon you want:

When the English Generation II GlitchDex articles are done I plan on making a few of these articles, although not too many yet as I'd still like to finish the English ItemDex, AttackDex, UnownDex.

i already have documented most of the red and green pokemon, with the exception of learnsets and evolutions for $cf+, which can be found here.
i also didn't document ketsuban or the fossil variants.

Thank you danny! ^^ I remember that now, that's amazing. I will link to there on the user page subpage.

If you're ever in the mood, feel free to add them. :) (Otherwise I'll make sure to add them myself eventually)

I am getting Japanese Blue for christmas and decided to investigate this glitch:

Japanese Blue item $00 sure is wacky. It's the only version of $00 (or really, any item at all) that I've seen that has a completely dynamic name, kind of like super glitch. Its name is usually (E), (Eeme), (I), {Blank}, and sometimes it is just a bunch of voice marks followed by the screen data. Clicking on it usually crashes the game, like so:

Although the crash is always different.

Whether it crashes seems to, unfortunately, be time-dependent, and happens because of the item name buffer like most glitches.

However, sometimes it can have other effects. Once I got it to go to the use/toss menu, but it also made the music cut out and the old man/oak battle behaviour to come on. Is there any practical use for this item?

Have fun with Japanese Blue! I think it's nice to try out the different languages. :)

Japanese Blue's item 0x00 is indeed random to an unknown degree. You can track where its getting its name from by setting a breakpoint to 0:3822 and opening the menu with it in the menu as the first item.

The name is sometimes in RAM or WRAM, hence you have a chance of getting it to be what you want. And if we're really lucky, maybe we can use a special item name in combination with a screen data saving glitch item for a specific instant encounter/out of battle capture like Rival LOL glitch.

I think Red/Green have a weird item 0x00 too, but I haven't checked if it's random.

I was gonna add some pages slowly, starting with red/green. creating them from the the red links I added earlier in
http://glitchcity.info/wiki/User:Torchickens/Glitch_Pok%C3%A9mon_article_requests
and using
https://glitchcity.info/wiki/GlitchDexJP/Y:237
as a template by replacing values and text and such for everything that we have documented for them now.
However, I have some problems with uploading any files (or .png images in this instance specifically).

I get this prompt:

"Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data.

You might have been logged out. Please verify that you're still logged in and try again. If it still does not work, try logging out and logging back in, and check that your browser allows cookies from this site."

I've verified that i have cookies on and i've tried multiple times to re-login. I've also verified that the dimentions and filetype aswell as filesize are all okay. hm.

I get that sometimes too. Try editing a non-file page (even if you don't change anything). This may give you the session error message once. Try to submit again and it should then work, and file uploads afterwards.

There we go, Entries for Japanese Green in International GlitchDex are officially started!
That's enough for me for today, it's 2AM and def time for bed haha.

Next up: Japanese Yellow either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

(Also, great work Torchickens! I have seen you doing thorough work!) ^^

[EDIT: added Japanese Blue first in the end, and all those pages are started now, NOW Japanese Yellow is next]
