The specific act of lowering the volume, which in common person's terms to be precise; to make music less loud which may involve a decrease in amplitude of said sound, in some circumstances quite frank be good for one individual homo sapien's health, may help said individual homo sapien conserve one's energy for the day for later in the dusk (commonly known as the term "sleeping") and for specific moments of social interaction in which the act of lowering the volume to a relatively quiet setting, may not cause mental and/or psychological irritation among other fellow homo-sapiens. However, it must be stressed that keeping the volume at a relatively higher setting (or as a commoner would say; to have the volume adjusted to setting "loud"), can release feelings of enjoyment, also known as "pleasure" and perhaps encourage dopamine to the individual's source of intelligence as is the current paradigm in neuroscience, psychology and is argued in philosophy, also known as the "brain".

All conspiracies can be explained by a series of coincidences. Of course, conspiracies would encourage people to think so if they were real, which they might be, but there's a psychological effect where we tend to seek arguments that support our thesis and beliefs, rather than seek and counter those disproving them. It's also interesting how much the human mind cannot accept randomness that doesn't appear as such, for example if a coin suddenly decided to only flip tails for a whole day. It's completely possible that this happens, since its probability is non-zero. Lastly, another reason why people consider conspiracies so much is for the same reason some believe in God: certain things are beyond what we can currently explain, and the human mind tends to be heavily irritated by uncertainty. Believing in a "greater thing" that's above us and beyond our comprehension can be used as a good catch-all (or at least catch-a-lot) that helps soothe this fear. Although some people ironically become paranoid from it, producing the adverse effect.
