Parappa the Rapper - Live Rap With Mc. King Kong Mushi

This is from an old Playstation game I used to play when I was a lot longer. It had awesome graphics, soundtrack and gameplay. Ironically, a Robot Chicken skit parodying it made me remember it. The only time I still watch Cartoon Network is later at night when they have Adult Swim. I hate all these shitty new cartoons. I used to watch Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy for hours at a time. I suppose in a few years it'll be on Boomerang though.

Ah, I used to play Parappa the Rapper, I still have the game somewhere in my room. I suck at it, but even now I can get up to the Cool Rank in Mr.Onions dojo. I had it once when Parappa was getting his licence, but failed since. I've played a simiar game to that, called Um Jammer Lammy, it's quite hard, but was fun. I got up to the final stage, where I got so nervous I missed the last part of the song. We used to have Toonami here in England, and that showed some awesome cartoons, like Dragon Ball: GT, Ultimate Muscle, Teen Titans, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, they were showing the DBZ movies once, and I'll admit it they sucked because the English voice acting was CRAP! The ones I had, it was just right, but meh. I used to own a few of the movies on my Windows 98, where Movie 12 was in Japanese, but when Toonami was up to Movie 11, they couldn't show 12 because of the swearing in the 12th movie, which was the only way to brake out of the curse that had happened. I still got it on my PC somewhere.

Movie 12? Wrath of the Dragon? The only swear in the dub is Hell, considering that's WHERE the fighting took place. Ahh…it makes me chuckle to see Hitler look like a fool in that movie….

Jay-Z - Empire State of Mind

This is one of about 3 rap songs I like. I was too young for Toonami when it was around, and when I grew up I was so disillusioned with children's television networks that I didn't even look at Cartoon Network. Oh well, now there's the internet.

No, I don't think it was called that. Bah, I'll have to watch it, I haven't watched it in years - reason: so funny, I'd be crying from laughing so much.

I ws a bit fussy when it came to TV. Still am now. Ah, I miss some of the old cartoons I'd used to watch like, Thundercats (this was around a long before most of you were, but I was lucky to see the re-runs back in 1988, or whenever the year was, I can't remember), Outlaw Star (this was the ONLY Japanese anime in the UK that wasn't censored (was on Cartoon Network but uncut on Toonami that had swearing, violence, some adult sences, not much well there's a lot in Episode 23), Ultimate Muscle, One Piece (I've found a site to watch them online for free, but goes up to Episode 432, so I don't know how many episodes there really is).

Groove Armada - Groove is On

Yeah, these days the most violent thing you can see on Cartoon Network during the day is Looney Tunes. Wait, anime? Not censored? That's amazing. Shame I missed it. Sometimes I feel like I should have been born earlier.

I think you're a bit wee underage for Outlaw Star. The Japanese version to One Peice is uncut, and I love it, but it pissed me off for when Luffy got like stabbed with these poisonous darts, but they were edited to be them sticking darts here in England. ¬¬

Before I Forget - Slipknot

Tom & Jerry would make me laugh my ass off, that was so funny, I'd be watching Looney Tunes, or Baby Looney Tunes. I only like three episodes of Outlaw Star, where I like Episode 3 and 5 in English, but love the 21st/25th in Japanese, because of a song a woman named Melfina sings, and it's really wonderful. I can only find her English version of her song, but I love her Japanese version better.

Gorillaz - 19/2000 (Soulchild Remix)

For some reason dubbing agencies love to censor things a tad excessively. I prefer to watch the Japanese versions, not only because they're uncut, but also because some Japanese (honorifics are the cliche example, but pronouns work too) can't really be translated into English. Man I loved Tom and Jerry. I think I've practically memorized every episode.

I haven't seen it in years. I mean at one stage I had some of the memory world in Japanese, where Yami wnet back to stop Zork, and when Bakura was hit by an attack, he was bleeding a bit. But I'm fussy, so I only like Yami-Sama in English. He sounds too soft-like in Japanese, but serious in English. I don't mind Outlaw Star in English, because ours is just the same as the Japanese version. As I seem to creepy myself out but, Mariku (It's Yami Malik's name in Japanese), sounds must more better in Japanese, where I was watching one of the episodes in Japanese from an old site, that went down two years ago, but either way most sound better in either Japanese/English. I know they "tone" things down for younger viewers, but got God's sake, so they have to tone down a lot of it? I mean one episode where Zoro had gotten stabbed, there was no blood, and even when he was badly cut open.

"Godzilla"-Blue Oyster Cult

Yeah, and editing to where Sanji had freaking lollipops instead of cigarettes. Every second, he had a different flavor. (Usually cherry, however)
Yes, the 12th DBZ Movie was Wrath of the Dragon, but I had messed up on the plot. Hell and Hitler were in the 11th Movie, Fusion Reborn. Wrath of the Dragon had Hirudegarn. Different "H".

Beck - Movie Theme

You're absolutely right Yami, Mariku was way better in Japanese (hell, that's the only language I've heard him in, I gave up on the dub after Season 2). I just hate how 4Kids took an anime that was probably intended for teenagers and dubbed it for seven year olds. 5D's (it's surprisingly good) also had all hell censored out of it; there's a scene at the beginning of episode seven where Yusei is electrocuted, but in the dub, it was just a body scan. The random accents are also annoying. All I can say is at least they didn't touch Season Zero.

Well, it was released in America, but was removed from the air because of Yami's temper. Now I really do love when he does get mad, but he made Bakura and Mariku look sane. I've seen some of the episodes, but stopped as it became too Anzu xYami releated. I mean he's mean to have red eyes, and red in his hair but the fucking idiots, changed all that in our version. He looks more better with them as I have a poster on my door with him with them colors and they suit him. I've heard Mariku in English, but meh sounds too soft. In Japanese he sounds like he should, and Bakura as he does in the English version. He'd play Yami no Games (Shadow Games/Punishment Games) and drove anyone insane if they broke the rules/if they lost. It does bother me to a point where they'd like fucking about with Yami's voice, and height. He's meant to be like 5'9, but in season 0, he's not. When he went through those doors, I felt as if my soul had followed, it just so painful to see him leave, as I was so upset that I'd hide in my room most of the day/playing games because I'd felt I'd lost the one mn that's made me happy since I was 8.
