Gareth: It does a little. The trick is to hug where the spikes are less extreme.

Yami: They won't attack. Finneon's are calm Pokemon, they won't attack unless they are under attck, or feel the need to fight.

Jolteon: It's not that, it's just… I was once beaten by this kid's Squirtle. I've not been too keen on most water types since then. The only ones I can trust are Vaporeon.
