< I haven't heard of this kyuubi; jokes aside I always assumed it was a kitsune… Fits all the requirements: nine tails or less, possessing people (or just inhabiting their body, in this case), and slyness. Maybe it's the same thing, but just in a different dialect?

^ Yeah, but an all-powerful one. The higher number of tails for a fox, the stronger it is. 9 tails is the maximun. Those ones are kyuubi.

^ Sceptile (or another strong Grass type) to counter Swampert, and a powerful Water or Psychic type against Infernape. I suggest Mewtwo, unless you're staying away from ubers. If you are, Alakazam. Or Gyarados, for Fire AND Fighting moves to not be effective against it.
