So I thought of this neat idea for a comic 53 minutes ago.

I've got all these toys that I haven't played with in years, so, to give them to some use, the comic would revolve around such toys going on wacky adventures. The star of the comic would be this big King Ghidorah toy (seriously the thing's like 13 inches tall) and his merry band of misfits going on wacky adventures, beating up bad guys, and destroying everything except the kitchen sink.

Panels would be snapshots of areas of my house that the characters are in, and it would be grievously unfunny because I'm not funny at all.

King Ghidorah's not the only thing that's 13 inches!

Oh God why don't women like me.

I could probably get my friend to buy me one of those things. He does owe me for not chipping in for parking at the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition).

Although my birthday is next month and I don't want him to give me that in front of my mother.

…Wait, yes I do.

I mean GOSH.

So how is everybody here?

This, and wasting time at job interviews for jobs I won't get.

Next time someone says "I'll let you know," I might just punch them.

How about you just fucking be honest with me? I don't want to live on false hope, asshat. Just tell me that I didn't get the fucking job, and that you're instead going to give it to your stoner cousin or the most attractive applicant!

Hey, you can do it man. Don't give up and keep a good attitude, when you have self confidence it'll show. Employers can smell that shit dude. Just dress nice, don't stutter, answer the questions straight, and just be chill. You got this dude.

Full time jobfag here
The best (or all I can think of right now) advice I can give you (which may be bad advice, given that the job markets on the other side of the world may be different) is to sit down for a bit, get a list of every skill you might have that might possibly be related to the role you're applying for (also, good idea to know as much about what you're applying for as possible), and either put them on your resume or be prepared to mention them in the interviews when the opportunity arises, or both. And if you find yourself lacking in certain skills, attempt to acquire them in your free time. While personally acquired skills may not look as nice as those from official educational institutions or official experience from other jobs, they're better than having nothing. Then again I don't even know the kind of job you're applying for so your mileage may vary.

And try not to worry too much about whether you stutter during the questioning or not, because then you'll be focusing on your outward appearance too much and not the actual questions which may be more important. I seem to recall I spaghetti'd my way through my entire interview and obviously I managed to get it. And I think with most places if they don't give you the job, you can ask them for feedback and they might tell you.

1) Yes
2) Haven't heard of it and by the looks of it >romantic comedy so I might pass on that one. Not that I'll be watching anything that I can't buy on DVD anytime soon until I get my damned internets.

oh romantic comedy? tsk tsk. it's even better.

The premise is this and i shit you not (pictures instead of words for dramatic effect):

The

wanted to know which is better.
Steel

so they decided to GENETICALLY ENGINEER

to fight to the death, to see which

is the best

That girl you saw was in fact one of those GENETICALLY ENGINEERED

and she befriends a dude who is obsessed with cans for some retarded reason, so he is technically her pokemon trainer that helps her fight other cans because god forbid that this anime decides to give 2 fucks about logic. So yeah, if you want to watch the next episode of MoeMon, starring soda cans instead of pokeballs, this here anime is for you.

how does that remotely prove your point zowayix? Besides, i never said anime was bad, i was saying that akikan lacks logic. If you want to GENETICALLY engineer soda cans, and you find a way to make soda cans mate somehow in general, I will call the noble awards because after that, you deserve one. I tried it, you know what happened? The cans dented.

also on a side note
http://codegeass.wikia.com/wiki/Chess

just because you CAN make your own rules, doesn't always mean it makes sense. I mean look at that move even if it was legal, he's STILL threatened by the pawn as well. So he is in check twice by their rules.

also, to each their own zowayix, if you like everything about *sigh* akikan, then that's your opinion. more power to you. I enjoy it for what it is, but i do dislike the premise. In fact a lot of things in anime aren't supposed to match with the real world rules and that (from my understanding) is why a lot of people like anime so much. it's an escape, with a serious or light hearted story.

Mostly I was replying to Bert's implications. And Code Geass is logical other than the chess mistake which was only there because the director didn't know how chess actually worked but just thought it looked cool, it just happens to be in a fantasy setting. And logic isn't even mutually exclusive with humour. I just don't like the idea of a bunch of cans doing battle with each other.

You know what would be a dick move?

After the count to one million ends, host a "count to two million" board.
