Genocide is designed to be frustrating to complete.
I like the idea behind that, but just don't have it in me to spend an entire day repeatedly failing an action-command-based boss (I generally get them down to about 1/3 health at best, and that's after resetting and making sure to pick up all the best items for it.) Maybe when the game's had more time to sit with me I'll feel more determined.

To save your own sanity, I recommend practicing the sans fight (Hell, it even works on mobile!)

As for UU, you're just going to have to tough that out. Best wishes to ya, though!

Tbh for UU I just edited my save file to get ridiculous attack. Piece of cake! ( 'w')

welp. time to get the pc version then.

That soundtrack is on my "to listen" list now, Evie. I always loved the stage themes from the original Kirby's Adventure.

Vita! I looked through the file structure on it but didn't find any .ini files. Being able to switch between the control stick and arrow buttons helped in my first fight against Kdtodu jxu, kxx…Toydw but haven't been able to quite cut it for this one. I need a break from it anyway; stuff related to the game has been clogging the visual side of my mind like you wouldn't believe.

I just got a new soldering iron set for xmas, courtesy of my uncle. I went to use it to hardmod a PS2. Good news: PS2 hardmodded for easy discswap and SwapMagic with original ejector. Bad news: the iron barely made it through that before oxidizing to unusability. Even after I properly wiped the tip off with a damp, clean rag before and during use, it still corroded to shit in seconds once power was applied. (No, tinning didn't help. The solder layer oxidized too.)

Soldering irons rust to dust in my hands in seconds. Every time. Even when taken care of properly. Fuck me…

That's sad. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I relate in that technology sometimes doesn't always work in my favour. :/

On the other side of the country until the middle of next month or so without a computer. (I realized I forgot my charger when I got here, but kind of instantly registered that I didn't have much use for it for this trip that my phone or 3DS couldn't fulfill.) Not getting dunked on too badly thus far, to my surprise, but won't be able to be as active. Still nervous, but, well…let's just say this next experiment looks very, very interesting.

So I'm rewriting my novel to make it more like I originally intended and I swear to fuck my ability to write has gone down the drain and it's been like a week and a half and I've only written 3000 something words goddamn fuck shit this sucks.

What are you traveling for? Anything particularly interesting?

Huh. Nothing new, but good to see a (seemingly) popular YouTuber cover this–WHOA, whoa, whoa. Hold the phone! I did not expect that with the custom tool. Thanks for the link to that!

@Mi?NO!, it's just family stuff this time.

@Bert, I had a question about your shiny Lugia over in the appropriate thread. Also, what kind of stuff do you write about? Any long term goals with it? It seems to be one of the main things you do, but I never heard you talk about it much.

Pretty much everything I write is action-adventure oriented, and my heroes typically engage in vigilante justice. Also whenever I write something original, it's set in Canada. I've always enjoyed writing, although I don't have any specific influences regarding authors. I can say without a doubt that my favorite book series is The Executioner, though.

As for long term goals: I want to make lots of money and have it turned into a half-assed movie adaptation staring Nicolas Cage.
